š„ Did the Dry Bones Already RiseāOr Is Something Greater Still Ahead? Ezekiel 36ā37: The Promise and the Picture of Israelās Restoration āø» š A Prophetic Narrative Out of Holocaust ashes and global exile, the Jewish people returned to the land of their fathers. The world watched the bones come together. But somethingās missing⦠the breath. God gave Ezekiel a shocking vision and a solemn promise: He would regather, revive, and reunite Israel. Not spiritually. Not symbolically. Literally. āTherefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: It is not for your sake⦠but for the sake of My holy nameā¦ā (Ezekiel 36:22) God is not done with Israel. He never was. āø» š§ Three-Stage Prophetic Fulfillment: 1ļøā£ Regathering to the Land āI will take you from the nations⦠and bring you into your own land.ā (Ezekiel 36:24) Fulfilled in 1948, ongoing today. Israel is backābut not yet redeemed. šŗ Literal Fulfillment: āYou shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathersā¦ā (Ezek. 36:28) āThe land will be cultivated and inhabited againā¦ā (Ezek. 36:8ā12) 2ļøā£ Spiritual Revival Still to Come āI will give you a new heart⦠I will put My Spirit within youā¦ā (Ezekiel 36:26ā27) āThen you shall live⦠and know that I am the LORD.ā (Ezekiel 37:13ā14) šØ The bones have assembled. The Spirit has not yet entered. This revival is future, and massive. 3ļøā£ Reuniting Under One King āI will make them one nation⦠and My servant David shall be king over them.ā (Ezekiel 37:22, 24) Fulfilled when Jesus, Son of David, returns to reign from Jerusalem. āø» š New Testament support. ā¢Luke 1:32ā33 ā āThe Lord God will give Him the throne of His father Davidā¦ā ā¢Romans 11:25ā27 ā āAll Israel will be saved⦠the Deliverer will come from Zionā¦ā ā¢Zechariah 12:10 ā āThey will look on Me whom they have piercedā¦ā ā¢Jeremiah 31:31ā34 ā āI will make a new covenant with the house of Israelā¦ā ā¢Acts 1:6 ā āLord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?ā (They were not rebuked for asking) āø» ā False Views Refuted. āThe Church is Israel now.ā āGod abandoned the Jews after they rejected Jesus.ā āAll this was fulfilled in Christ.ā Wrong. Paul asks directly: āHas God rejected His people? By no means!ā (Romans 11:1) He goes on: āHave they stumbled so as to fall beyond recovery? Absolutely not.ā (Romans 11:11) The dry bones are not the Church. The bones are āthe whole house of Israelā (Ezek. 37:11). They are ethnic, national, and prophetically regathered. āø» āThe dry bones of Ezekielās vision are rattling today. The miracle of Israelās rebirth is the prelude to revival. God is not finished with the Jewish peopleāHeās just getting started.ā āDr. David Jeremiah āEzekiel 36 and 37 prove that Israel may pass through stages of rejection and disfavor, but she is never cast away.ā āJ. Sidlow Baxter āø» ⨠Closing Takeaway: The miracle has begun. š The land is alive. š The people are returning. š The Word is moving. But the Spirit is coming. And so is the King. āThen the nations will know that I am the LORD⦠when I vindicate My holiness through you before their eyes.ā (Ezekiel 36:23) You are living in the generation watching Ezekiel 36ā37 come to life. Soon, the world will witness the Return of the King. āø»
