Telegram has removed a number of open-source intelligence (OSINT) channels without explanation, affecting at least eight distinct projects that appear to be based in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia 1/4

Among the suspended accounts are Ukrainian channels “OsintFlow”, “Cat Eyes Osint”, and “Osint Бджоли”, which were actively documenting Russia’s invasion and identifying military personnel. Administrators from “Osint Бджоли” accused Telegram of a pro-Russia targeted attack 2/4

The removed Russian-language channels, including “Schwarz Osint” and “Python и 1000 уязвимостей”, seem apolitical and commercial, focusing on OSINT tools. A single exception was a patriotic Russia Day post from the “Bafomёd OSINT” project prior to its deletion 3/4

The sweep also included the channel “Osint Georgia,” a project that has been entirely inactive since 2023. Read our previous report on unexplained Telegram channel deletion here: https://en.zona.media/article/... 4/4
