After writing a nuanced piece on migration, my friend @SteijeHofhuis (untenured postdoc) is publicly called a "fascist in academic garb", compared to Goebbels, and accused of "verbal terror" by a tenured professor (Hans Siebers). That's how toxic academic monoculture has become.
