Her described whiteness is symbolic because she’s the embodiment of sattva symbolizing purity, clarity & wisdom. It’s poetic imagery, not a racial beauty pageant. Traditional Indian iconography - you know, the actual art from the Hindu Indian civilization that has worshipped her for millennia - always shows Devi Saraswati with jet-black or dark blue-black hair, draped in a white sari, seated on a lotus or a swan, holding a veena. Not a harp. Not a violin. And definitely not posing for a Euro Renaissance oil painting. Stop trying to misappropriate and retrofit our Indian deities into your weird Western racial templates to fuel your delusional “White Aryan” fantasies. Our Hindu gods and goddesses belong to Bharatiyas and Bharat - the land that birthed the Vedas inspired by the goddess.
