We worked with Soham Parekh for 3 weeks in June. He seemed extremely cracked in the technical interview, and said all the right things. That he loved open source, and ComfyUI. Then things started to fall apart.
He struggled to complete his onboarding tasks, and seemed to design over complicated services. Two weeks into our engagement he said he discovered a benign tumor that triggered an auto immune reaction and needed to get immediate surgery. A week later he said he was back to normal, but missed a 1:1 with me because he overslept because of medication.
At this point I decided he was unreliable so we let him go. But I had no idea he was systematically and blatantly lying to so many companies. Disappointing, but also pretty wild and funny.
