Zephyro vs Phainon when he tries to break free from the cage. The eyeless lion is Zephyro, dismembering the Golden Scapegoat every loop on the altar. Zephyro is the OG Mydei, and he was here to stop Phainon from ascension. So thats why Zephyro is connected to that myth of

mourning for Phaethon when he falls into the river. This scene is also a reverse of Mydei trailer, which detailed Nikador being turned into golden blood god by Kephale in the river. So at one point in time, in his ascension attempt, Phainon managed to drag

Zephyro in during their fight, prompting Zephyro to become Nikador and occupy the Strife slot, which originally belonged to Phainon's programming instead.

Irontomb is the black tide's true identity, the "you" here that Lygus is speaking to. Phainon (neikos) is the present being given to "you" (the black tide Irontomb). Lygus intention is for the black tide to eat Phainon and ascension from the cocoon of Amphoreus in Phainon's place

Mem and MC have merged, like Mei and Elysia met again in Moon arc and became the Hercherr of Origin. The Strife and Love cycle involved 4 people, as predicted. MC (Strife) and Cyrene (Love), Phainon (Love) and Mydei (Strife). They take turn swapping between Strife and Love.

When Cyrene died and went missing from the database, Phainon took on both Love and Strife. At 1 point, Zephyro got in and joined the cycle, becoming Strife. Then in the end of 30 million sth 36th, MC dropped in and activated Love (Mem) again.

MC is Destruction pathstrider, so the next cycle is between Love (Cyrene/March) and Strife (MC, Deliverer). Phainon kicked himself out of the cycle. Presumably, if the animation is true, this means Zephyro is getting out of the cycle as well and remembering his identity.

Still has to do world quests, but that's the gist of the main quest.
