I learnt yesterday that Enugu State Smart School is almost a failed project. Out of 260 budget smart schools, only one is in use in Owoh. The ones in GTC are yet to start functioning. The project was shared amongst the government officials family members. One of the contractors
@winexviv Why not renovate existing schools first? Get kids back in class. Fix libraries and laboratories, train and pay teachers well. This “smart” project ignored the basics. And now our children are paying the price.
@winexviv They did a very poor job in Aninri. There’s nothing smart about that trash in Aninri
@winexviv Sir Alex, you sound too critical of the smart schools concept of Peter Mba. Truth is, sometimes the overhead in reconstructing infrastructure outweighs building a new one. The Smart schools project as far as I'm concerned is a timely intervention. Surely, Mba won't get it all
@winexviv We wait till September to see how many schools they will bring onboard.
@winexviv Total waste of money
@winexviv If Enugu state governor supported the Agugu fraudster, everyone knows how this story will be painted.
@winexviv I said it, lol.
@winexviv Chai. So sad to hear. Sad part is, those thieves won’t be probed and the money paid in advance returned to from whence it came from.
@winexviv I have said it that the smart school is not necessary. Why not use the Peter Obi model that even World Bank came to study and recommended same for entire Africa. Enugu state doesn't lack schools but lacks functional schools. So why not repair and equip the existing schools?
@winexviv If only he had adopted the PO model. The money budgeted for these "Smart" schools would have renovated and equiped all the secondary schools in the state. But Alas, the crave for "legacy" projects will not let them. There is no aspect of HDI that Mbah has improved in 2 yrs
@winexviv Nigeria is a corrupt country from the central and the central has corrupts the states, nothing will work out in Nigeria without restructuring the institution of this country the governor's the senators the local government chairman they are all criminals
@winexviv The date for the smart school kick off is September. The Enugu State government has been saying this for a very long time. It's September.
@winexviv The amount of money that has gone down the drain will shock you.
@winexviv A governor that can't fulfill his promise of ordinary water after 190 days and you think is smart school he will finish. Mtcheeeeewww
@winexviv That is why I do not subscribe to "Legacy Projects" as a they call it. If you are serious about such projects give it to a reputable civil construction Co and not family and friends.
@winexviv Is this not too early to make this conclusion boss Biko na
@winexviv Rascality! But one day na one day! #RigandDie2027 #APCMustDie
@winexviv It is expected, those who believed PN Mbah would deliver are entrenched or prospective members of his burgeoning scam team since he paid his way into office.
@winexviv Why not give directly to the schools like Obi did That's a tested and trusted method.
@winexviv The intention was to have a shiny white elephant project it was never to fix infrastructure for the students
@winexviv Implementation of policies are always the problem in Enugu state
@winexviv Ndi new Nigeria should just accept the obvious that Nigeria wasn't wired to function effectively. #endnigeriatosavelives
@winexviv 😂😂😂😂 Enugu people will learn. “You can’t come in through the windows and pretend to clean the house. “ Peter Obi.
@winexviv Nigeria 💔
@winexviv The contractor that was paid 220M in advance but haven’t done anything in 2yrs, doesn’t he have an asset we can seize, or write to his resident country regards his fraudulent intent Like isn’t there something we can do to keep these people on their toes
@winexviv A typical PDP style, I can trust a man that stole power
@winexviv Mbah is a disappointment 😞
@winexviv Chop and chop is the way of Naija politics, imagine how many billions that had been mismanaged? How serious are these people about basic educational needs of the people?
@winexviv Where's that Nigerian actor that kept selling this governor to Enugu people. He should come see the failure he sold
@winexviv This isn't surprising at all. Ndi Enugu, "Tomorrow is here" indeed.
@winexviv Sorry about my naivety or maybe I’m old school… what’s does this ‘smart school’ that Enugu govt talk about entail that’s different from a regular school? Pls can someone enlighten a layman here.
