@ioluminations also about this point, isn't it crazy how we have ~5 very androgynous male characters, most associated with femininity in some way, and all of them have some sort of narrative about identity, lacking one, bc of ammnesia or other, and going on to finding one
@ioluminations something i like about asagiri’s writing is how he isn’t afraid to give women a leadership or powerful position. yosano is highly regarded as a combat doctor, kouyou is a mafia executive, teruko is a renowned military officer, louisa being the strategist etc.
@ioluminations genuinely asagiri is really good at writing women its actually shocking, its just sometimes how he handles his female characters and how much theyre put into plots feels poorly handled at times 😞

@ioluminations What I like about the relationship between ability and user is that it feels like they complement each other. Men are kinda strong physically so they have weaker abilities while women are less strong physically so their ability is strong as hell!
