I know that Stop Killing Games could also cover situations like this, but the real meat of the issue is games you *can't* play offline. Let's not forget that.

@GamerAlexVideos And NFS Rivals multiplayer was basically dead if you found a match it would just be 15 minutes before a host migration that would take around 5 minutes to find a new host and this process happened multiple times. in The xbox one/PS4 version, the xbox 360/ps3 one is a pure desert

@stennbrun Yea I have, as I have a degree in cyber security and network engineering. I think pretty sure the game is already peer-to-peer when you are in a lobby, but actually finding lobbies would require a server. So, it's a little more complicated than just p2p.

@GamerAlexVideos I think its abysmal either way. These games should be playable forever, make them peer to peer like the old days or something idk. I know its not that simple but there has to be a way.

@GamerAlexVideos For understandable reasond. The Crew had functional offline mode yet they decided to just snap the game out of existence. Now people think that its the new norm for shutting games down in the industry. Knowing EA, it wouldn't be out of character though.

@GamerAlexVideos yeah Rivals is good since it’s got the offline support. It’s a bad sign for NFS2015 tho seein as that’ll probably lose its support a few years later & can only be played online as of now

@GamerAlexVideos Pretty much this, all down to someone making a third party client tho like how Bad Company 2 right now is playable through Project Rome. The better thing is to have the store version include the community patches/clients like how GOG releases do so, but I guess too much for EA?
