Who is Krishna according to the Vedas? Not just a god, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead. All forms of Vishnu, avatars, Shiva, and even cosmic functions originate from Shri Krishna. Here’s the most sacred structure of divine expansion ever mapped. #Thread

At the very top is Shri Krishna, the Adi Purusha - the Original Supreme Being. He is not an incarnation of Vishnu, but Vishnu is His expansion. Krishna is the root. Everything else is a branch.

From Krishna expands Balarama, His first manifestation and eternal brother. Balarama is also Maha Sankarshana, the source of all Vishnu expansions. Balarama further expands into the Chatur-Vyuha (four forms): Vasudeva Sankarshana Pradyumna Aniruddha

This Chatur-Vyuha appears twice: Once in the spiritual world, and once in the material creation through Narayana. From Narayana again comes the same four forms, and through Maha Sankarshana, the creation process begins.

From Maha Sankarshana expands Karanodakasayi Vishnu (Maha Vishnu). He lies in the causal ocean, and each exhalation of His breath produces millions of universes. This is the first Purusha-avatar.

In each universe, Maha Vishnu enters as Garbhodakasayi Vishnu. He lies on Ananta Shesha and from His navel springs a lotus. On that lotus is born Lord Brahma, the engineer of the universe.

From Garbhodakasayi Vishnu also comes Ksirodakasayi Vishnu, who resides in every atom and within every living being as the Supersoul (Paramatma). He is the third and final Purusha-avatar.

From Ksirodakasayi Vishnu emerge all the Krishna-avataras, including: The Dashavatar (Matsya to Kalki) Lila-avataras (divine pastime forms) Manvantara-avataras Yuga-avataras Shaktyavesha-avataras (empowered forms)

This includes: Rama Narasimha Vamana Parashurama Buddha Kalki Balarama Varaha and others. These are not separate deities - they are direct expansions of Krishna through Vishnu.

Now the Guna-avataras (Qualities-based Deities): 1. Brahma – Rajas (creation) 2. Vishnu – Sattva (preservation) 3. Shiva (Rudra) – Tamas (destruction) Brahma emerges from Vishnu. Shiva appears through the interaction of Vishnu and cosmic energy (Maya).

Each Guna-avatara is paired with a consort: Brahma with Saraswati Shiva with Parvati Vishnu with Lakshmi These consorts are Shakti-tattva, divine feminine energies.

Shri Krishna’s own internal potency is Srimati Radharani. She is not His consort in the conventional sense. She is His Hladini Shakti - the energy of divine bliss. All Lakshmis are partial expansions of Radharani.

The Maha-Maya, Durga, and Kali forms seen in the material realm are lower expansions of divine Shakti, used to regulate the material universe. But Radharani is the source of the spiritual world’s energy.

In short: Krishna is the Source Balarama is the First Expansion From Balarama comes the Chatur-Vyuha Then Narayana Then Maha Vishnu Then Garbhodakasayi Vishnu Then Ksirodakasayi Vishnu Then Avatars

This entire structure is part of Vishnu-tattva, meaning fully divine, non-different from the Supreme. Other categories in the chart: Shakti-tattva: Divine feminine energies Shiva-tattva: Intermediate divinity Jiva-tattva: Individual souls (us)

What’s profound here is that even Shiva and Brahma are not equal to Krishna. They are appointed roles within the cosmic management. Only Krishna is the Supreme, full in all opulences. (Sat, Chit, Ananda – Eternal, Conscious, Blissful)

Bhagavad Gita 7.7 “There is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.”- Shri Krishna Even Lord Vishnu is a thread in that necklace.

This is the Gaudiya Vaishnava view, rooted in the Bhagavatam and Pancharatra. It’s not mythology. It is cosmic architecture - the divine structure of existence, cause, and incarnation.

Understanding Krishna’s expansions is not just theology. It’s realizing that the absolute truth is personal, and that you are eternally connected to it through divine love. Save this thread for spiritual reflection. Share it to uplift dharma.
