🧵 WAKE UP, BHARAT! What’s happening in Bengal is a civilizational warning and you’re sleeping through it. Tagging the man with the courage to show the mirror: 🙏 Thank you @vivekagnihotri for daring to tell the untold. Here are brutal truths from The Bengal Files that the
/ Did you know? On 15 August 1946, just a day before "Direct Action Day," Muslim-owned shops in Calcutta were marked with the word “Pakistan.” These weren't patriotic slogans. They were identifiers-signals to spare those shops when violence erupted. Hindu shops? Looted.
/ During Calcutta riots in 1946, naked bodies of Hindu girls were found hanging by their hair in Rajabazar, Kolkata. Their limbs severed. Displayed openly, like carcasses in a slaughterhouse. This wasn’t violence. It was unspeakable barbarity.
/ Bengal's Chief Minister Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy declared a public holiday on 16 August 1946, urging Muslims to flood Calcutta's streets. This wasn't a protest. It was a state-backed shutdown designed specifically to spark communal carnage in a Hindu-majority city.
/ Just three days before the violence, on 13 August 1946, Suhrawardy openly threatened to transform Bengal into an Islamic State. This wasn’t a freedom struggle. It was a blueprint for communal fire and genocide.
/ The violence that erupted on Direct Action Day wasn't spontaneous- it was a meticulously planned massacre that claimed the lives of over 10,000 innocent people, mostly Hindus. Yet, this tragedy was conveniently erased from your history books.
/ Amid this horrific violence, emerged Gopal Chandra Mukhopadhyay (Gopal Patha), a Hindu who dared to fight back, protect his community, and stop the genocide. But his name, his bravery, his sacrifice? Deliberately buried, deliberately forgotten. Why?
/ Because remembering Gopal Patha would mean admitting this brutal truth: Direct Action Day was not communal violence, it was an attempt at Hindu extermination. And the hero who prevented it had to be erased, to maintain a false narrative.
/ This horror didn't end in 1946. After Bengal’s 2021 elections, 🔴 Hindu men were lynched 🔴 Homes were burned 🔴 Women were raped All for voting "wrong." What followed was not just violence, It was ethnic cleansing wearing a democratic mask. And you scrolled past it.
/ In Sandeshkhali, dozens of Hindu women were raped and tortured for years. By whom? Not faceless mobs. But by powerful protected men. FIRs were denied. Police remained mute. And women had to march half-naked to get noticed. Is this Nari Shakti?
/ Entire Hindu villages now refuse to celebrate Durga Puja in areas like Malda and Murshidabad. They know: One aarti, one murti immersion, And stones will rain. This is not "adjustment." This is forced surrender.
/ Temples are bulldozed in the name of “illegal structures.” But mos ques and m@zars built on railway land stay untouched. Even roads are being declared Waqf. And you’re still debating “minority rights”?
/ Over 100 BJP/RSS karyakartas, mostly Dalit Hindus have been killed in political violence. Strangled, Shot, Burnt alive. For what? For loving Bharat. Their deaths don’t trend. Because your faith isn't fashionable.
/ There are no-go zones in Bengal today. Where even police won’t enter without "permission." Where loudspeakers blare all night. Where saying Jai Shri Ram is banned. And they say Bharat is free.
/ Durga Puja immersions have been banned or rescheduled repeatedly. Why? Because they "disturb" other communities. When your traditions become a threat, That’s not coexistence; it’s colonization.
/ Illegal Bangladeshi migrants control local politics, land, even ration cards. Meanwhile, persecuted Hindu refugees from Bangladesh are labeled “outsiders.” Appeasement has a price, And you are paying it.
/ Hindu voices from Bengal: raped, beaten, homeless - are not victims in the media's eyes. They're “communal.” Their truth? “Controversial.” This silence isn't neutral. It’s aiding a civilizational crime.
/ This thread isn’t fiction. It’s fact. A reality that mainstream media buried. But truth has a way of resurfacing. And Bengal is screaming.
/ Wake Up! History buried is injustice repeated. The erasure of these truths isn't accidental, it's deliberate historical betrayal, happening again and again. Know these truths. Share them. Because silence today ensures violence tomorrow.
