1. You are not stuck. Just scared of the potential consequences + what you'll have to feel.
2. What you think is a motivation problem is usually a clarity problem.
3. The fastest and most effective way to get to clarity: Welcome the emotion you’re trying to avoid in the consequences.
4. If you can't welcome the emotion, welcome the resistance.
5. Make sure to welcome the fear, too. The clearest sign that you're in fear is binary thinking Yes or No Stay or Go Do or Don't
6. Until your fear feels welcome, it will run your life.
7. Once fear feels welcome, it no longer needs to dominate your life to get your attention. And clarity is more likely to emerge on its own.
8. The more you try to fix yourself, the more you're telling yourself you're broken.
9. If you think you need more discipline, you need more awareness.
10. Every part of you, even the one that self-sabotages, is trying to protect you. It's just doing a crappy job.
11. The part of you that sabotages is also the part of you that’s scared to be left behind.
12. See all the ways you're not stuck: You’re not tied down in a chair. You can speak. You can leave. You have choice.
13. Most of your “procrastination” is actually inner conflict. Resolve the conflict, and action becomes obvious.
14. If you want to change your behavior, first change your relationship to yourself.
15. Productivity without presence just creates more of what you don’t want.
16. Avoiding discomfort is the #1 productivity killer. Not laziness or distraction. Avoidance.
