Bismillah As-Salaamu ʿAlaykum wa Rahmatullah This thread contains alleged accounts from multiple women regarding serious misconduct by Tulaib Zia Zafir — a public Qur’an reciter, Harvard PhD candidate, and well-known figure in religious spaces.

Trigger warning: spiritual, emotional, and sexual misconduct. Over the past several years, multiple women have come forward with allegations of manipulation and exploitation by Tulaib Zia Zafir under the guise of religion, spirituality, or romantic intent.

Alleged Pattern: Targets religious, vulnerable women (e.g., hijabis, scholars, converts) Initiates emotionally intense relationships under marriage pretenses Shifts to sexual themes or actions Ends things citing family/cultural reasons

One woman reports that during their university years, Tulaib told her he loved her and intended to marry her. They entered a romantic and sexual relationship. She later discovered that he had been engaged to another woman at the time, something he had not disclosed.

She has said the experience left her emotionally devastated and in therapy. She retains evidence in the form of messages, photos, and videos that confirm both the relationship and the betrayal.

Between 2020 and 2021, several women report that Tulaib initiated online relationships with them through the Clubhouse app. Two women, both ʿĀlimahs — one of whom is now married — were reportedly told by him that he loved them simultaneously.

Both women report having been involved in sexually explicit online relationships with him. One of them was later told that he could not pursue marriage with her because she was not Pakistani and his parents would disapprove.

After eventually connecting with each other, these women compared conversations and exchanged screenshots that showed contradictions in his behavior.

From 2020 to 2024, Tulaib reportedly maintained a long-distance online sexual relationship with a woman abroad who he also met on clubhouse.

In 2022, another woman disclosed that she was in an online sexual relationship with him and later found out that he had been simultaneously involved with another woman abroad, who had no knowledge of the first.

Both women report feelings of betrayal and emotional harm upon discovering the overlap.

In early 2023, a recent Muslim convert based in New York says she met him through a fetish-based platform called Fetlife. According to her, he expressed interest in a threesome involving her and another woman he was seeing.

She agreed and joined them at a hotel, where the encounter occurred. She claims that shortly after, both Tulaib and the other woman ceased all contact with her. She has submitted a full written testimonial.

Later in 2024, while studying at Harvard, he is said to have begun dating a woman from Chicago. Her father became concerned and conducted his own inquiries, during which he reportedly discovered past allegations. He then urged his daughter to cease contact.

She also would be in her apartment with Tulaib supposedly with friends, but alone in her room with Tulaib. He invited her to his apartment at night alone too. This was alleged by a student at Harvard.

Around the same period, a married woman—described as a friend of his—alleges that during a meal, something fell onto her chest, and instead of verbally alerting her, he reached over and brushed it off himself.

She recalls that he made repeated inappropriate remarks throughout the interaction, including jokingly asking, “Are you breaking up with me?” Disturbed by the experience, she later sent him a four-page letter explaining how his actions had crossed clear boundaries and made her

feel violated. According to her account, he did not respond to the letter. It was only after her husband confronted him directly that he acknowledged the incident. This account was also reportedly mentioned during a call with someone affiliated with Harvard.

In early 2024, a 19-year-old woman received anonymous messages through the NGL app. She suspected they were from Tulaib and contacted him via Twitter/X. Their conversation escalated quickly, becoming sexual in nature, with him allegedly initiating explicit comments and

suggesting they meet in person. That same night, she received a sexually explicit call from him via X. The following morning, she blocked him out of shame. However, she continued to receive anonymous messages, which she says she was able to trace back to his location using

NGL Premium. She later discovered he was in marriage talks with another woman in Texas during the same period.

Many other women have come forward privately but have requested that their stories not be shared publicly due to trauma, fear of retaliation, or a desire to heal privately. Their boundaries are respected, and their courage is deeply appreciated.

Across all testimonies, there appears to be a deeply consistent pattern. Tulaib is alleged to seek out religious, vulnerable women—such as hijabis, niqabis, scholars, and converts—establish emotionally intense relationships under the pretext of marriage, and then introduce

sexual conversation or behavior soon after trust is built. When confronted, he is reported to invoke family pressure, ethnicity, or cultural limitations as excuses to exit. In some cases, he is said to accuse women of slander or misrepresentation.

Several women describe being left feeling ashamed, manipulated, and spiritually harmed. Despite these serious reports, Tulaib Zia Zafir reportedly continues to maintain multiple active accounts on Twitter/X and Instagram, including @/Zaadfather, @/lalaehind, @/metafaqih,

@/mannemiskeen on X, and @/tulaibzafir and @/tulaibz on Instagram. According to recent reports, he continues to use these accounts to engage with religious women, often beginning with spiritual or intellectual topics before allegedly shifting into inappropriate territory.

This is not a one-time lapse in judgment. What has been described here reflects an alleged multi-year, multi-continent pattern of emotional, spiritual, and sexual misconduct—facilitated through the use of public religious credibility.

More women may come forward. Many remain silent. But the pain left behind is real. And the harm must stop.

@dataunleash WTH? How "religious, scholarly, hijabi" women go onto "sexual" relationship with a man they are not married to? The blame then is with not just the predator, but the dumb preys too. They completely ignored the religious teachings on interactions with the opposite sex;

@dataunleash man clubhouse hit muslims like crack hit the hood in the 80s

@dataunleash Single guys out there... goes to show that your shyness is preventing you from marriage. Crazy to hear guys do this, but IMO crazier to see ladies actually going along too. > public Qur’an reciter ... how... why...
