@AaronRofficial_ 10 movies won’t teach you more than an MBA. They’ll teach you how greed looks in slow motion. If you want to learn about money: → Talk to someone who lost a business. Or twice. → Lead a team under budget pressure (LOL) → Negotiate your first equity deal Movies entertain.

@AaronRofficial_ Watching a 3 hour movie will not teach you more than a 2 year rigorous education on business Asinine

@AaronRofficial_ I promise you, none of these teach you more than an MBA

@AaronRofficial_ I enjoy The Wolf of Wall Street for its depiction of Jordan Belfort's pump-and-dump schemes, but the irony is that the film was financed with embezzled funds from a Malaysian investment scam. For some reason I find this funny

@AaronRofficial_ Rogue Trader Movie (1999): Ewan McGregor stars as Nick Leeson, a Barings Bank trader whose reckless bets in Singapore tank the bank. Hiding losses in a secret account, his gambles spiral, especially after the 1995 Kobe quake crashes markets. It’s a wild ride of greed and bad

@AaronRofficial_ Glengarry Glenross

@AaronRofficial_ Margin Call is worth a watch.

@AaronRofficial_ No they don’t. Stop preaching stupid random stuff just to create engagement to earn your next meal.

@AaronRofficial_ This is my ‘Quant’ makes me laugh every time 🤣

@AaronRofficial_ Margin Call was probably my favorite of these. It’s a fun look at the monstrosity of Dick Fuld and why Lehman was left out of the big bailout. I heard a story that someone punched Fuld out in the executive gym when everybody was getting canned, but I was unable to verify it.

@AaronRofficial_ Great movie, but it completely ignored the cause of the collapse, which was the government forcing banks to give out bad loans.

@AaronRofficial_ The International The Money Masters The Secret of Oz

@AaronRofficial_ Should be required viewing for college students and it still makes my blood boil that my kids and grandkids will be paying to bail these crooks out for the rest of their lives. Nobody was held accountable. The guy they prosecuted was doing 1/1000th of what the "too big to

@AaronRofficial_ Where is the wall street ?

@AaronRofficial_ The Big Short, number 1.

@AaronRofficial_ Three you forgot: Wall Street Trading Places Other People's Money

@AaronRofficial_ Big Short is brilliant

@AaronRofficial_ People FINALY starting to connect the dots... just to realize that this is going to play out AGAIN!

@AaronRofficial_ Great list. Thanks for sharing @AaronRofficial_

@AaronRofficial_ You forgot Field of Dreams 🤣
