A reminder of the slightly more relevant fact that the country Mahmoud Khalil lived in most of his life - Syria - ethnically cleansed its Jewish population, as indeed did most other countries in the Middle East.

@Daniel_Sugarman Any idea why his family was in Syria?

@infinite__jaz Oh, I'm aware. The forced relocation of his family in 1948 was wrong - a historic injustice which should not have happened. Any idea why he wouldn't have met many Jews in Syria?

@Daniel_Sugarman And that very same nation of Syria is clearly planning to cleanse Allawites, Druze, Christians, and Kurds today. Perhaps he should go back there so he can enjoy it?

@Daniel_Sugarman Folks, it doesn't matter. Jews are "warming up" to him. It's over. https://www.jpost.com/diaspora...

@Daniel_Sugarman Exactly. Every reality is twisted to serve one end - the genocide of Jews. Even when Jews defend themselves.

@Daniel_Sugarman And that’s why they only “hear about” Jews.

@Daniel_Sugarman He was clear in saying he only had heard about Jews; even used the word "unfortunately." Plenty of people in the West have never met anyone Jewish. Their opinions of Jews largely depend on what they hear, and often that means negative info.

@Daniel_Sugarman Yeah after Israel ethnically cleansed 750,000 people in The Nakba and murdered 15,000

@Daniel_Sugarman They are still attempting to ethnically clean Syria from any group that is not them: Curds, Druze, Christians, Alawites.

@Daniel_Sugarman Oh are we opposed to ethnic cleansing in this case?
