It has been brought to our attention that some sections of Article 1 are missing from the Constitution Annotated (https://constitution.congress.... website. We’ve learned that this is due to a coding error. We have been working to correct this and expect it to be resolved soon.
@librarycongress Incompetent. You're all fired.
@librarycongress Appreciate the announcement. It would be nice to see a diff of the coding error that would cause such an omission.
@librarycongress Yeah, you better. Revolution is looking better and better every day.
@librarycongress This has the criminal hands of Todd Blanche all over it.
@librarycongress Trump is plotting a coup by removing the part about the Navy!
@librarycongress Please let us know when it's been fixed.
@librarycongress Bullshit
@librarycongress That’s one deliberate coding error.
@librarycongress codeine error
@librarycongress Blink twice if you need our help, Librarians.
@librarycongress “Coding error.”
@librarycongress Coding error
@librarycongress We the People are always aware Mistakes or Purposeful, and who brought It to your attention, We the People. Yes, because WE are always watching our Government, ALWAYS.
@librarycongress We don’t believe you. But at least you know we are paying attention.
@librarycongress Basically what I suspected what happened - this is not an issue of bad intent, it's just an issue with incompetence. Trying to update headers and copyright notice, end up chopping off parts of Sections 8-10. This is why you have maker/checker processes and test environments!
@librarycongress Wow shits really going down hill with this administration.
@librarycongress Another “coding error” to create discord and discredit the administration by a rogue democratic employee is plausible?
@librarycongress Fix it you fucking pieces of shit
@librarycongress Soon after a trial amongst your peers, anyone who facilitated in subverting the constitution will be subject to a trial. It will make The Hague look like a kids bop commercial.
@librarycongress GTFOH! We see you doing Trump's biding you lying fucking traitors! 🤡 Is this Ginny Thomas?
@librarycongress coding error, my dick - what are the odds the sections 'missing' have to do with the limits of Congress and the States? You're full of shit
@librarycongress What coding changes needed to be made to the constitution site?
@librarycongress “Sections 9 and 10 of Article I, which focuses on limiting the power of the legislative branch, were taken down without explanation…” That’s an awfully specific coding problem.
@librarycongress Coding errors typically don’t manifest themselves like that.
@librarycongress A "coding error" dropped *only* Section 9 from at least three different pages? You realize you're making this assertion on a webpage which is visited by millions of people who are knowledgeable enough about coding to know this is a lie, right?
@librarycongress Coding error my ass! There was no reason to be in that part of the website in the first place! Nothing was amended or ratified etc! Leave the American people’s protections tf alone!
@librarycongress It's funny how y'all did this on purpose to try to distract from the FACT that DONALD TRUMP RAPED CHILDREN ON EPSTEIN ISLAND
@librarycongress That’s the dumbest lie
@librarycongress What happened to review before publish? Do not blame omitting a constitutional section on a coding error! You are responsible for content released. Fix it now, revert to a version that was complete, or take it down.
@librarycongress lol Of all the lines of text to be omitted by a random "coding error"
@librarycongress no one believes literally anything any of you ever say forever.
@librarycongress Seems like a crazy time to have a coding error that removes the right of habeas corpus at the same exact time that the administration is suspending habeas corpus. It kindof doesn't sound like an error.
@librarycongress Fucking lies
@librarycongress Coding error? In the Constitution? If you don't mind my saying so, this sounds a little fishy. Nice try though.
@librarycongress What kind of coding error? What code could have been changed to remove this specific section only of your website? Will you offer the public transparency into how this mistake happened?
@librarycongress “hey, what if we can just… delete laws from the congressional website? does that cancel it?” — dog musk
