Palo Alto has the Flu FluA in Palo Alto is at last December 2024 peak (and late January 2025 peak) While a late Summer peak is normal as birds migrate and as vacationers swing through... those peaks lead to California wide rises. This is Palo Alto alone Any ideas?
Its over 700 -anything over 100 is a clear signal for FluA -just as 1,000 is a clear signal for Covid
Regarding California Migration... yes, its high for August, but not that high as compared to historical averages. (late September is the peak for California migration and peak risk of Avian Flu transfer during drought/heat stress to new herds and reinfecting other herds)
While Colorado is experiencing huge early peaks in migration right now...
@JusDayDa Hi. My back yard. This is sewer shed data,yes? I am not a HCW, so no ground-truthing as to evidence from physician visits, etc. I just looked at the school calendars. August 14 is the first day of school. I’m at a loss.
@lizditz Sewer shed yes…. But only Palo Alto is active… none of the adjacent sewer sheds. School starts right around the corner. What’s odd is it’s not H1 nor H3 nor H5 Leaving Porcine H2 or H7 or H9 etc…
@JusDayDa VC's all sucking each other off
@JusDayDa Stanford summer camps and programming bring kids aged 14-22 from all over the country via air travel to stay on campus for a few weeks at a time for most of July and August. Those dorms are an incubator for airborne transmission
@JusDayDa Stanford is being punished?
@JusDayDa Idea, hopefully to be ruled out Stanford U -discharges to Palo Alto system https://suwater.stanford.edu/w... -biosafety manual allows for liquid waste discharge to sewer, after decontamination https://ehs.stanford.edu/wp-co... -has various human influenza A research projects
@JusDayDa This is very weird. Here's the whole data series back to 2022. Shown are Palo Alto (orange), San Jose, S SF, Sunnyvale—all zilch but Palo Alto. Some small off-season blips are seen, but nothing this large. But note—all the off-season blips are Palo Alto. https://data.wastewaterscan.or...
Surging aggression. Language delays. Developmental issues. Teachers & parents report major changes in children Lockdowns are often blamed. But many lockdowns were short (e.g. UK) So what else changed in early childhood since 2020? I’m a neurologist. Let's talk COVID & brains🧵
The year is 2025. My Barbie and I are still masking. Please send all your hate messages for us (I will read them all for her). We are very worried about your opinion.
HIV virus takes 2-8 years to develop into AIDS. HPV virus takes even longer to cause cervical cancer. EBV is linked to MS years later. We already know that Covid causes death, organ damage and immune dysfunction. What else will it do? A reckless gamble on our future health.
"Do you want to wear an N95 mask every time you go to a doctor's appointment or the hospital?" Yes. And I want everyone else to wear one too.
