I hear some people are accusing India of being “recalcitrant“. I say, far better to be recalcitrant, than to be tractable, submissive or acquiescent to injustice.

@ShashiTharoor That's fine Shashi but what about the abnegation of camaraderie in the egregious enfranchise that comes from the fatuous of the grandiloquent at the behest of impecunious and insidious semaphore?

@sagarcasm . Bhai aap kya kehna chahte ho? @sagarcasm

@ShashiTharoor India will make future books thinner and history books thicker, as they are destined to fade into oblivion soon.

@ShashiTharoor This post is the pure example, which shows your level of English and language understanding... Only one word is enough to leave you clueless...

@ShashiTharoor Your big words sound fancy, but dodging trade talks with the U.S. might hurt India more than help it. Standing up for justice is good, but India need practical deals to keep its economy strong!

@ShashiTharoor Will it be prudent to consider the deployment or Prerajulisation if we are apprehensive of pondering about Farhanitrate?

@ShashiTharoor If anything once can call present day India as arrogant, divisive and xenophobic. It takes a long time to build goodwill, but not too long to lose it. Both Modi and Trump have shown that. I am appalled that you have become an apologist for a Hindu hyper nationalist government and

@ShashiTharoor At what temporal juncture do you envisage the formal renunciation of your current partisan affiliation in favour of an unequivocal assimilation into the BJP, thereby expediting our collective anticipation of your ministerial incumbency within the aegis of the NDA administration?

@ShashiTharoor You can replace "tractable" with -Manageable -/Controllable -/Obedient -/Easy-going -/Docile & "Recalcitrant" with -Stubborn -/Uncooperative -/Defiant -/Disobedient -/Unruly Then read 🙄

@ShashiTharoor Who used that word? Sounds like a Shashism to me 😆

@ShashiTharoor Indeed Shashi, the annals of liberty are inked by the intransigent, not the ingratiating.

@ShashiTharoor Who is accusing that? Trump or Vance does not know this much English.

@ShashiTharoor Please write in english

@ShashiTharoor It is a badge of honour for a nation to stand firm against the winds of unjust coercion, rather than bending like a reed to the whims of foreign diktats. The spirit of India, ever resilient, shall not be cowed into submissive tractability.

@ShashiTharoor Trump calling up Webster's office 😂🤣 The bunk only read Tariff.

@ShashiTharoor Better to flumbuate , cruminate or flumate to injustice

@ShashiTharoor That's speaking for all Indians.

@ShashiTharoor Recalcitrant: refusing to follow instructions or rules; not easy to control Tractable: easy to deal with, manage or control Acquiescent: ready to accept something without protest, or to do what someone else wants.

@ShashiTharoor Better to be a recalcitrant lion, than a submissive lamb waiting for slaughte You want a docile, apologetic India? That expired in 1947. This India calls out hypocrisy, stands its ground, and won’t be lectured by nations with blood on their own hands.

@ShashiTharoor Maa kasam tharoor sahab mere ko sare word google krne pde except submissive 😂

@ShashiTharoor Refered the dictionary thrice. What about you all ?

@ShashiTharoor Really proud of @Shashi Tharoor on his command on English & his understanding of National interest. Congress has to learn from this Congress Member of Parliament from God’s Own Country Kerala. I wish he stays in Congress as we need some bright Nationalist in Opposition too !

@ShashiTharoor Shashi ji, should the appellation recalcitrant be the price for resisting obeisance to injustice, then I say, let us be as stubborn as a colonial era elephant on parade. For what is recalcitrance but a euphemism for spirited gumption? Better to incite raised eyebrows than to

@ShashiTharoor In PUBLIC INTEREST! Recalcitrant – stubbornly resisting authority or control. Tractable – easy to control or influence. Submissive – inclined to yield to the authority of others. Acquiescent – ready to accept something without protest.

@ShashiTharoor I'm really afraid you might meet the same fate as that of KN Ranjanna & Pooja Pal for telling the truth. 😕😕😕

@ShashiTharoor I know for a fact that none of you in the replies know what recalcitrant means

@ShashiTharoor You’re the LOP India truly deserves with your eloquent defiance! Hope your soon-to-be ex-boss prioritizes India over his antics, including that absurd "dead economy" talk.

@ShashiTharoor To decipher this,the person from whom the tweet is intended for needs at least 1 or 2 English professors to understand it

@ShashiTharoor @sagarcasm Bhai ko thoda sa tharoor ho gaya hai, isliye english out of control ho gayi hai 🤣.
