You remember last year when they told me to pressure wash my house in December ghosted me on an appeal and then suggested I sell my house because I didn't want to pressure wash it in December? My response to that was to tell them they raised the bills exceeding the max by 0.01

It's in the contract. 5% is 5%. If you round the increase up, you go over the 5% contractual max. Well they didn't issue new bills. I get that. They gave a 0.01 credit. I understand this.

However I have just reviewed the financials. I am the only residence who received a credit.

This of course is a violation of state law to charge different HOA dues for residences who have the same amenities. The amount of the variance is immaterial.

We will be asking for the boards resignation and termination of the management company on Monday.

@mitrebox A friend of a friend owns an HOA management company - get this. If you do not pay your HOA dues - the HOA company can come & force your removal from the home - similar to a bankruptcy - regardless if you’re near foreclosure with the mortgage company or not. They can/will file it

@mitrebox People really do need to read the bylaws. Our HOA does crap but there is a review board for changes and people complain all the time that they don't reply. I just submit and then plan the work since they have 30 days to disapprove, after which it is deemed approved.
