THREAD: I predicted Trump and Putin would not meet. I was wrong. So why did they meet? I think they met not for national political reasons, but for personal political reasons. They met to seal a partnership to advance each other’s interests. What does that mean? (1/5)
Trump wants a third term, and become king. Putin wants to create the Third Rome. There isn’t a conflict here. In fact, they want the same thing, which is to destroy the global apparatus underpinning the Anglo-American empire (the US deep state, the MIC, NATO, etc.). (2/5)
In order to do so, two conflicts must arise. First is US ground invasion of Iran. Second is NATO defense of Odessa. Both wars would ignite civil war throughout the West, leading to an overthrow of the global elite, and establishing the conditions for a Trump monarchy. (3/5)
The Alaska meeting produced nothing of substance, but it accomplished two objectives. First, Trump and Putin assess each other. They have a deep sense of each other’s intentions, but it’s important to meet in person to sense how sympatico they are. (4/5)
Second is that this meeting will cause anxiety in Washington, Brussels, and Kiev, which is the main objective. If Trump and Putin are intent on ending the war, the empire must escalate it, which will lead to the Odessa Trap and the Iran Trap. (5/5)
