A Breaker Block forms through a specific sequence in price action: First a low is created, followed by a high Then price makes a lower low taking out liquidity beneath the first low After that a higher high which confirms the shift in market structure

The breaker is the candle before this move which is a key level where price often returns before continuing in the new direction You also want to see price displace above or below the initial swing high or low and create a Fair Value Gap to confirm the shift in market structure

A bullish Breaker Block forms when price creates a low then a high followed by a lower low that takes liquidity and finally a higher high confirming the reversal

A bearish Breaker Block forms when price creates a high then a low followed by a higher high that takes liquidity and finally a lower low confirming the reversal

It doesn’t matter if the breaker consists of a single candle or a series of candles the concept stays the same You simply treat the entire sequence as one block What matters is the structure and the displacement not the number of candles within the breaker
