So let me get this straight… - Alexander Isak was promised a new contract last summer by minority owner Amanda Staveley. - Staveley that same summer is forced to sell her stake in NUFC. - Newley appointed Sporting Director Paul Mitchell tells Isak he’s not getting a new
@NUFC_HQ Fairs but wrong about contracts being enforceable. Players can terminate their contracts now. Look up the Lassana Diarra case. 2 years into your contract you can just inform the club you're terminating it and you pay a penalty like buying out your own contract.
@Tony_Beam1 Which these days would turn into a legal battle which would most likely lasting years and see Isak not playing football until it was settled
@NUFC_HQ Agree with all that. Except etikite - he was lined up for us months ago. If he wants to move make the transfer request. If we want him, bid again. And Newcastle need to get better at signing players. And hold the owners accountable for infrastructure
@AuGrowler Ekitike had agreed a deal in principle with us before you 👍🏻
@NUFC_HQ Another grade A waffler.
@Rb84377821 Another rattled Liverpool fan. Fair play tho, at least you use your own photo 👍🏻
@NUFC_HQ I take out of this why was a minority owner having anything to do with contracts? Exactly as Mitchell said that the transfer system was not fit for purposes
@ringocandrum They were left to run the club seeing as they made the takeover happen. Mitchell was wrong imo. Wasn’t perfect, but I’m yet to see one poor signing.
@NUFC_HQ What wild fictional story you have just made up.
@ScotsSuperman https://www.newcastleunited.co... Read this one Scottish Superman
@NUFC_HQ They have an illness 😂😂😂😂😂
@TheFheasant I'm talking about my club and my player. Your commenting on other clubs and other clubs players... hmm
@NUFC_HQ WAFFLE
@jcraw20 RATTLED
@NUFC_HQ Haha. Don’t you get tired of justifying stuff with random BS? He clearly behaved very well since it seems he thought he would be allowed to leave & the club are just incompetent. They could’ve gotten Ekitike but Andy Howe thought he was smart! 😂 Their reluctance to engage
@NUFC_HQ No you don't have it straight ... your first 3 are total speculation .... you simply don't know!
@NUFC_HQ Promises aren’t enforceable but you do expect them to be kept, no? You’d expect clubs to behave honourably and act in good faith. When they don’t, it’s entirely reasonable & human that you’d be upset.
@NUFC_HQ So handing in an official transfer request will make Newcastle accept he wants to leave , not the post he just put out , not the fact he’s on strike 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@NUFC_HQ So basically he was being professional saying n doing all the right things until they reneged. The club knew for sure what was promised. Hence the PR double speak "no Newcastle official" made a promise. A professionally run club wld know he'd b off. LFC didn't turn his head.
@NUFC_HQ Islam’s behaviour has been a disgrace. His attitude should be a warning to any club wanting to sign him.
