Everyone says “Just trade one setup” But no one explains what that actually means. So let’s unpack the ONE setup I trade and refine 🧵👇
2/ First, understand: I’m not trading 10 strategies. It all comes back to the same core mechanic. What looks different in context is still the same execution.
3/ The ONE Setup is simple: 1. Sweep → Liquidity is taken (HTF or intraday level) 2. Trigger → Break of Structure (BOS) with Unmitigated Move Origin (UMO) 3. Entry → Retest of the UMO (with SBS + MAs as confluence).
4/ To master this, refine three key areas: 1. Chart Reading (Market Structure, Liquidity, Environment) 2. The ONE Setup (Sweep → Trigger → Entry). 3. Execution (Risk Discipline + Journaling).
5/ Why it sometimes “looks different”: - Sweep on a Daily Level vs intraday level. - Trend Continuation vs Reversal. - Ranging vs Trending environment. The context changes, the setup doesn’t.
6/ This is the path to mastery: → Get better at reading charts. → Get sharper at recognizing the setup. → Get more disciplined in execution.

Generally I just assume price will continue unless proven otherwise. Assume continuation unless proven otherwise. Not trying to catch highs and lows.
Unpopular opinion but… SMTs suck Theoretically there’s an SMT everywhere if you think about it And if a play “fails” it’s because there’s an SMT but if it works it’s because there was an SMT and if it fails it’s because there wasn’t an SMT
