Gojo’s startled out of his big sad when this rando Kirby-looking kid just latches onto his legs, getting tears and snot everywhere. “Santa, Santa, please help me find my gramps!” Yuuji cries, bc Gojo has snow white hair and happens to be wearing a red scarf that day,

and all Gojo can think is “Hah??” Eventually Gojo flies the kid high up to 1) help him calm down and 2) see if he can spot his grandpa that way. When they spot Wasuke, Yuuji’s so relieved that he starts crying again + babbling about being scared of being abandoned again.

Gojo’s not about to admit this out loud but he can relate to the feeling, the fear of being abandoned. As Yuuji continues to sniffle, Gojo takes off his own red scarf and bundles it around Yuuji. “Oi, keep your chin up. We found your gramps, didn’t we?“

“Yes! And it was thanks to you, Santa!” Yuuji says, and he gives Gojo a huge hug w a surprising amt of strength for a kid his age. Gojo grumbles but returns the hug. “I hope you find who you’re looking for, too! You looked sad,” the kid says softly by his ear,

and Gojo’s eyes widen. The kid’s surprisingly perceptive. After they reunite w a very worried Wasuke, Yuuji waves goodbye at Gojo and tells him “Bye, Santa! I hope you get home safe!” which oddly fills Gojo w warmth despite the cold air around him.

He can’t remember the last time someone wished him well like that… Then he suddenly sneezes. “Wait, shit,” he realizes, “I forgot to get my scarf back from that kid!” Gojo sighs. He’ll just have to get another one—it’s not like he’ll ever see that kid again.

@tyrosretell My headcanon would be even in winter Gojo could wear the thinnest material and he won't even catch a cold because his infinity help maintain the temperature surrounding him, so the cold won't bother him anyway
