1/ Russian soldiers face ever more draconian rules in occupied Ukraine, apparently imposed to crack down on desertions and misconduct by soldiers. Violations now effectively attract a death penalty. The soldiers, not surprisingly, aren't happy about this. ⬇️
2/ The author of the 'Vault No. 8' Telegram channel writes: "In general, so that you understand the depth of our depths. Our rear zones in the far rear have been declared "territory living by the rules of the permanent point of deployment."
3/ "With all that this entails – nothing is allowed, two checks a day, documents and army order above all. Well, this is the news from the north of the Luhansk People's Republic in one line.
4/ "— The military are now prohibited from travelling to Starobilsk as well. The safety of civilians is paramount. And this is a major road junction.
5/ "—From the military unit, 5 (five) vehicles a day are allowed across the border. Including trucks delivering ammunition. This is supposedly to limit the ability of deserters to escape.
6/ "But in fact, whoever came up with this probably received the Hero of Ukraine [medal] in absentia for slowing down our logistics.
7/ "— The enemy's FPVs fly and harass up to 30 km deep into our territory. Aircraft-type kamikazes are even further. Both wings and slow-moving vehicles. They flew to Starobilsk as well.
8/ "— Humanitarian aid is no longer transported from the [near] rear to the front. Vehicles must be sent from the front to the distant rear. This applies to everything, including building materials for dugouts.
9/ "— Soldiers are prohibited from stopping at stores. This is a district ban, and the district police monitor this. Lower-level soldiers are more understanding. But all the red-hats [military police] grab those caught drunk and send them into assaults.
10/ "— If a passenger without an [authorisation] warrant (colloquially, a "BRK") is caught by the military police or traffic police, if he is recorded in a report with violators, then he and the driver are sent into assaults together. This is already our local peculiarity.
11/ "— In connection with the establishment of peacetime order in the rear areas in the Zone, the rear guards now chase to the east as often as the fighters attack the Ukrainians to the west.
12/ "— Our division is the worst in the Armed Forces in fulfilling the vacation plan. The practice of banning vacations for an entire unit if it has at least one deserter who has not returned from vacation is bearing fruit.
13/ "There is 1 month left until the 3rd anniversary of mobilisation service. It is under these conditions that we serve Russia." /end Source: https://t.me/vault8pro/52877
@ChrisO_wiki Sounds like the entire Russian Army in Donetsk is nothing but penalty units, military police, and thieves.
@ChrisO_wiki Winter with no food and water is gonna be fun for the russians 🤭
@ChrisO_wiki Let the mutiny begin. We will get 🍿.
@ChrisO_wiki The meat grinder never stops. Russia must feed it incessantly. What a country and it's machine for the pigs.
@ChrisO_wiki Not happy about it but too cowardly to do a damn thing and will glad bend over and ask for another. Russians are cowards.
@ChrisO_wiki Cats that have their teeth and claws pulled will catch few mice. But neither will they bite the hand that taunts them.
@ChrisO_wiki Russian soldiers need to frag their officers.
@ChrisO_wiki Its fine with me👌
@ChrisO_wiki A wonderful slave army. As per history.
@ChrisO_wiki With draconian measures like these wouldn't open rebellion or mutiny be much more likely? Happened in WWI, can happen again! 😉
@ChrisO_wiki A really good idea to boost moral - NOT. Against who is P actually fighting this war? It becomes more unclear every day.
@ChrisO_wiki No way to run a happy army.
@ChrisO_wiki Ok, so when does the mutiny begin? Until then I don’t care.
@ChrisO_wiki What are the suicide statistics for such units?
@ChrisO_wiki Damn. I'm all out of "oh no"s and "how sad"s.
@ChrisO_wiki So it will become increasingly difficult for the units to buy their equipment they need themselves? Harsh measures against desertion tells of big problems with deserters. But this measure, combined with the poor russian logistics, decreases supplies and fighting power even more.
@ChrisO_wiki Same as last days of Dritte Reich.
@ChrisO_wiki Nothing brightens my morning like reading about the army of murderers and rapists suffering. Shame they haven't figured out the Ukrainians they are fighting are doing the job they should be doing themselves, destroying the Putin system.
@ChrisO_wiki Sooooo how bad is it in the Russian society that Russian soldiers tolerates a harsh cruel insane asylum? Russian society is hell on Earth maybe worse than hell
@ChrisO_wiki @fixie_inash Good. I hope they're having a thoroughly sh*tty time
@ChrisO_wiki You have to respect Russian incompetence. It’s the one thing they excel at.
