I wonder if Muslims will ever develop independent civilisational tech stack allowing them to unilaterally protect Muslim interests anywhere on earth, or will we always have to compromise on some Muslim interests (e.g. Uighurs) for partial-access of tech stacks of greater powers?
@WDLD0712 Our slow adoption of technology has guaranteed we’re going to be behind unless 1. We compromise severely to forge contracts to bring us to the forefront (like Japan did post WW2) 2. EMP knocks out all electronics across the world somehow (basically Afghanistan)
@WDLD0712 I think civilizationally we aren’t capable of developing it. We have the talent but the social imperatives aren’t there unless everyone accepts a futurist model like China did to escape their century of humiliation
