I remember the first time I watched him at Villarreal & thought, who the hell is this? The type defenders hate facing, a real pain to any backline. I just hope that once he gets out of the CFC environment, he rediscovers that joy on the ball he had.

@Der_Augustus Augustus, can he play out wide? Or how do you see the winger situation? I think we are thin-equipped. Diaz has no sub, Olise's sub is teenager Karl and nothing more. If Musiala returns Gnabry can be a wildcard for both wings but still....
@gioopowa He can bring a lot of what Díaz offers out wide, pressing, smart runs, plus he isn't bad 1v1, while also providing a reliable option in a more central role to rest Kane or compete with Gnabry until Jamal is back.
@Der_Augustus Will he be better as second striker instead of lone striker ? Imo yes. Remind me a bit of Joelinton being awful with Newcastle as #9 and start to be good again as #10/#8.
@esetfcb All depends on what you expect from your lone striker, he carried Villarreal that season but at Bayern, you expect a lot more goals and he won't offer that. He can replace Kane from time to time, but he will mainly come for his ability to perform in multiple positions.

@Der_Augustus Come on man, no need for chelsea slander. He had 24NPGs and 10A in two season, for comparison Isak got 24NPGs and 3A in his first two seasons. Nico is very underrated and overly criticized by the media & ex players. He is the best Off the ball runner we had as well, underrated
@Der_Augustus It could be very exciting if he finds his form in our high pressing game. If he works in defense & beats his man regularly it will work. But his finishing & greed can put him in hot water if he doesnt improve
