@My_Investmement What deltas, how wide of spread? Odte can wipe you in a matter of minutes. It’s good until it isn’t

@BrettFred I typically choose the lowest possible delta, around 0.01–0.03, and usually set my spread just 1 or 2 wings wide. Yes, credit spreads are very risky, chasing premiums or a single news event can wipe out your entire collateral in seconds.

@tradanoia 1) Margin used per trade With credit spreads, the margin is defined by the width of the strikes minus the credit received. For example, if you sell a $2 wide spread and collect $0.20, your margin requirement (and max loss) would be $1.80, or $180 per contract. Narrower spreads
