Yoko is his mom's oldest child. His real first name is Kimitaka His mom & birth father got divorced when he was 3. Yoko had no idea what his birth father looked like until he went looking for him in his 30s
His mom then married Yokoyama, and that's how they became the Yokoyama family. She had two more sons - Yoko's half-brothers, Mitsuru & Tsutomu Yoko mentioned on 24 Hour TV today that his stepfather was a bad guy, so Yoko went to live with his grandparents
iirc his grandparents lived in the same building, could be wrong He loved his grandparents a lot & has written a song about his grandfather, who has since passed 413man (jiichan-man, like Superman) is on PUZZLE. The lyrics are based on his real life experiences
The family struggled financially but Yoko's mom really did her best to provide for them by herself On 24 Hour TV today, Yoko said she worked in pubs late at night after he went to bed and he had no idea
After middle school, Yoko started working at a construction company & the jimusho to help out. He was ~15 y/o His mom battled cancer & divorced her husband. Yoko wasn't 20 yet (legal adult in Japan), so as he couldn't take custody, his baby bros were placed in a children's home
Yoko debuted at 23. Eito's debut is a separate story, but Yoko basically used all the money he made to support his family Yoko said his main reason for running is because his brothers were cared for in a children's home. He hopes to raise lots of money to help families like his

YOKO FINISHED HIS 105 KM MARATHON FOR CHARITY πππππ Eito met him outside the building and helped him all the way inside π They let him walk into the venue to the finish line by himself, and the kouhai helped him on to the chair π₯Ή
