If everyone is suddenly getting $120,000 a year in UBI, a studio apartment will cost $4k a month in Arkansas, eggs will cost $50 a dozen and no one under 65 will be able to own a house. These AI pushers don't understand the concept of inflation despite living it every day.

@Rahll (caveat: i think oai's estimates are wrong) afaict the claim is that there will be abundance of things that are productivity-constrained. _manhattan_ apartments would absolutely skyrocket, surely, but less-populated places could theoretically keep prices lowish by building more.
