Volume profile is the closest thing in trading to a broken slot machine. But 97% of traders use it wrong or overcomplicate it Here's how to trade it the right way (and make it insanely profitable):

Volume Profile shows you how much volume was traded at each price. The two zones that matter: High Volume Nodes (HVNs) = high volume levels where price gets stuck, chops, consolidates Low Volume Nodes (LVNs) = low volume levels where price rips clean and fast

Ever notice how price randomly wicks off certain levels then snaps back? It’s not random. Those are LVNs - areas with no buyer/seller interest Price gets rejected instantly and snaps back to HVNs Once you see this, the chart stops looking random… and starts making sense

Price doesn't just "wander" It hunts liquidity That’s why price consolidates at HVNs And then travels to the next HVN once it’s ready Price movement isn't random, it's chasing fuel.

Once you see the HVN-to-HVN game, trading gets simple: You just need to know which one comes next. Filter it down with 3 questions: – Which side shows structure? – Where is the trend pointing? – Who has momentum right now?

Price couldn’t get through resistance Every attempt failed. Then it started printing lower highs and lower lows That’s structure + momentum in sync. And when they sync, there’s only one path: lower

With no support until the HVN below, the downside is wide open. That’s where liquidity sits, and that’s where price wants to go. That means short: – Target = HVN below – Stop = above current HVN If price reclaims the higher level, our move is invalid

That’s one level-to-level move, start to finish. That’s how clean the market gets when you strip out noise. When you learn to see the market this way, You’ll never go back.

@Tradewrite Which time frame(s) do you use to find HVN’s and LVN’s?

@bettrthanexpctd 5 min - 1h

@Tradewrite Spot on bro… actually a helpful post on twitter. I like this very much. Earned my follow.

@Tradewrite 📸🎞️🍔🍟⏰

@Tradewrite Crazy how price just moves to these areas that act like magnets

@Tradewrite First question is how to get this indicator working well in something like trading view

@Tradewrite What timeframe do you look at?

@Tradewrite Thanks. Can it be even more complicated?

@Tradewrite Do you have video about this ? Also what sample size one needs to use for correct profiling

@Tradewrite It's the only way I determine true support and resistance

@Tradewrite Nice thread

@Tradewrite Agreed. I have studied volume for 3 years and a broken slot machine is the best term I've heard. I may use that if you don't mind💪
