As another man who once worked with me declares himself saddened by my beliefs on gender and sex, I thought it might be useful to compile a list for handy reference. Which of the following do you imagine makes actors and directors who aren’t involved with the HBO reboot of Harry
@jk_rowling I didn’t get the part where you said “troubled minors especially gay, autistic etc..” do you think being “gay” is a trouble, a mental health problem?
@VictorNewsie Of course being gay isn't a mental health problem. We know that gay, autistic and trauma-experienced kids are overrepresented at gender clinics. These groups often have vulnerabilities I believe should be addressed before they're prescribed cross sex hormones, puberty blockers
@jk_rowling I would bet good money on every single one of them publicly agreeing with you within the next five years, while simultaneously denying they ever thought that men could “actually” be women.
@salltweets The fallback, which I’ve already heard several times, will be, ‘I didn’t disagree, I just didn’t like the way you were saying it.’ This, from men who publicly supported a movement threatening women with job loss, violence, rape and death for daring to defend their rights.
@jk_rowling That would involve thinking—that isn't possible during a mass hysteria.
@Tachardiella Oh, these men are capable of thinking, but it’s easier to mouth platitudes from the back of a comfortable bandwagon.
@jk_rowling Your beliefs aren’t what makes them uncomfortable, it’s the fact that you voice them and don’t give a shite what anyone has to say about it. That terrifies them which is why they pass around the same script.
@ScolaidhDays Nothing upsets a weak man more than a woman who makes him feel his cowardice. This is as true of supposed iconoclasts who live in terror of losing the approval of the in-crowd as it is of domestic abusers.
@jk_rowling I’ll make a wild guess and say it’s because they weren’t asked to be involved in the HBO reboot and needed a fashionable reason to save professional face while trying to appear noble and virtuous. I wager none of them at heart really believes that men can become women.
@TheAttagirls One of them tried very hard to enlist my help in getting a major part in it. Only after he didn’t get it did he decide it was time to put the boot in.
@jk_rowling I don’t agree with all or disagree with all, honestly I’m just befuddled as to why you continue to drench yourself in this issue. Are you so passionate about this issue and so entrenched in your position that you would let this shadow all your previous and future
@jk_rowling @grok who is JK Rowling referring to in this tweet, most likely?
@jk_rowling It's funny. I agree with you here. I'm also an American conservative, and trump voter. I'm 100% sure I can find stuff that we disagree with each other on. One thing I've never done is advocate for you being canceled as you have been over this. I loved your books and have read
@jk_rowling Your feminist ideology and your Marxists handlers voted for the Trans shit. Reap what you sow. It's great to see the downfall of your idiocy along with feminism.
@jk_rowling I went through a chemical and surgical process to fit into society as a woman. Because of people like you I am now in danger whenever I go to a bathroom, or even just going outside my home. Trans women are real women. No matter what you think.
@jk_rowling Your common sense points completely fall apart when you accept the fact the people you are trying to get through to have there fingers in their ears and are screaming uncontrollably like the children they are
@jk_rowling All of this makes perfect sense yet you support mass migration and culture erasure, essentially the same thing happening to women is happening to the rest of your country. How you do not equate these two social disruptions as a means to dehumanize all people boggles the mind.
@jk_rowling None of it. The only thing that bothers me about the show is that they made Snape black. I don't understand that at all. I don't think he works well as a black character. That's it. Your opinions are your own and unrelated to the great work you did in my mind.
@jk_rowling Which of the following makes you so confused, bitter, and permanently affixed to the idea that standing still in the 1950s counts as moral courage in 2025? That trans people deserve dignity, not discrimination. That gendered spaces exist for everyone’s safety, including trans
@jk_rowling They're just virtue signaling because they're sheep going wherever the herd is going. Eventually the herd will agree with all these things and then it will be safe for the craven to do so as well.
@jk_rowling I don’t think these points are the problem. It’s your delivery and mocking of the other side of the argument that gets most of the vitriol
@jk_rowling Your courage is contagious. Please continue to speak out for common sense and women's rights, it's having an impact.
@jk_rowling Maybe your belief that hurting girls and women is only a problem if the perpetrator pretends to be a woman. If the perpetrator is a proud representative of the patriarchy from hostile cultures, then it is OK.
@jk_rowling They should keep whining like little children. Nothing they do will ever make them richer, braver or more clearheaded than the warrior JK Rowling. They are selling their souls to the devil by supporting the transcult
@jk_rowling I was with you on everything until you brought up President Trump, derogatorily. I think he’ll go down as one of the best Presidents ever, if not the best world leader. That being said, carry on and we support you
@jk_rowling For those asking, JK Rowling is referring to Chris Columbus, who directed the first two films. He dismisses Rowling's opinions as "political stuff" and condemns her in the most pathetic way possible. Also worth noting that Tom Felton is professional and based and will be
