Senne Lammens is a 23 year old goalkeeper playing for Royal Antwerp, who just finished 5th in the league phase of the Jupiler Pro League. The 6’4” shotstopper conceded 52 goals in 40 league appearances this season, a goals to game ratio of 1.3 per game.

Lammens’ most prominent trait is his ability to cover his near post. It’s on lockdown almost every shot he faces. Whether it’s a right footed hard driven shot across, a left footed power strike, or off the rebound.

One of the strong suit of Lammens is his penalty saving. He’s quick to react before the ball is struck, being very attentive. He immediately pounces on the ball to save it, like he’s trying to save somebody from a bullet.

Another great aspect, and arguably the most important of a goalkeeper to have, 1v1 power and prowess. In 1 on 1 situations, whether it be chipped, powered, or rolled, Lammens is able to use his craftiness to pose a serious threat to the shot.

Lemmens positioning and awareness. Lammens goalkeeping is that of a ‘catch’ wrestler. He positions himself roaming in his area, waiting for the right moment to dive for the save. He’s patient, steady, and nimble.

Lemmans always has his eyes on the ball, incredible save there.
