@naomibrockwell It was hard but I managed to remove the Apple id from my mac. I had to look alternatives for email, email aliases, app store apps etc. I didn't realize how much they trap you with their services.

@naomibrockwell This is untrue. I have the correspondence from the Homebrew powers that be that proves otherwise. Homebrew doesn’t report or indicate whether a package has spyware and you cant easy opt-out of telemetry on anything other than Homebrew itself. Even so, telemetry=on is the default.
