I wonder what happened 18 years ago that would cause a sharp decline of birth rates across the board that we never really recovered from but the banks and large corporations did

@no58699683 @GamingGstone @tippity I mean that’s like just objectively untrue you can have children until the day you die as a man usually, whereas women do actually have a limited time to have kids
@lennonali13 @no58699683 @GamingGstone @tippity Old man sperm (like past 40 or 45, so not even that old) is apparently the main cause for Down Syndrome and some types of spontaneous abortions... was really shocked when I read about it. Apparently sperm quality matters too...
@Adi89736381 @lennonali13 @no58699683 @GamingGstone @tippity With paternal age there is no conclusive evidence, but advanced maternal age is much more strongly linked to Down's Syndrome risk (along with pretty much all other congenital issues), but yeah paternal age matters too to a degree.
