I chose Excadrill for Commie Caucus. Excadrill has drills for hands which, according to the pokedex, have "evolved into steel strong enough to bore through iron plates" I don't know what spadework is but i imagine that would be helpful

GroundWork is Torterra, this little guy is one of the only ground/grass types. Torterra also looks like what you would imagine if i told you "what if a union organizer was an environmentalist" Torterra is a snapping turtle, and every GW member i have met has tried to bite me

Red Star is Starmie, which is frankly obvious. But also this Pokémon uses the "core of its body to send electric waves into outer space." I'm not saying RS are secretly Posadists, but if they were....

Reform and Revolution is Garganacl. I chose the rocksalt Pokémon because RnR has its origins as a break away from SAlt. Also because "Many Pokémon gather around Garganacl, hoping to lick at its mineral-rich salt." reflecting RnR's role as a swing vote

Emerge is Scrafty, because its from Unova (Pokémon's version of NYC) and because it "has a certain territory that it never leaves its whole life long" (like most New Yorkers) Also imo Emerge members are tied w/ LSC for most likely to listen to punk and to owe someone money

Marxist Unity Group is Sinistea, i mean it is literally a mug! But more importantly it "gets into your body [...] and then it steals your vitality from within." Which is common side effect anarchists report after reading the teal book

SMC is Wishiwashi, because a bunch of them can group up to become a bigger fish, so it's literally that meme of the school of fish eating the shark. You know the one. I always see organizers sharing it. I think that meme pretty accurately depicts SMC's labor and electoral plans

For Bread and Roses you might have expected me to do another literal one, i mean there are literally bread and rose Pokémon, but instead i chose Chansey. Chansey is famously the Pokémon used by nurse Joys, so what better Pokémon for the caucus most who wants to organize nurses?

Springs of Revolution are Smoliv, mostly because olive trees are a symbol of Palestine. But also no matter how scary or mean their haters might portray them as, every single SoR NPC member is secretly just an over-stressed little guy

Liberation Caucus is Pangoro. I chose this one because Pangoro has strong lumpen energy, since it is the only Pokémon designed to look like its smoking. Like most Maoists, this vice is also the source of its power: "Using its leaf, Pangoro can predict the moves of its opponents"

Finally, for my caucus, LSC, i chose Sylveon. Sylveon uses its ribbons to emit "a soothing aura [...] to calm fights" similar to LSC's use of Robert's Rules Also all anarchists are either queer, neurodivergent, furry, or a theatre kid, and Sylveon looks like it's all the above!
