I've said this countless times before and I'm still saying it.. “always pay attention to where price is coming from, where is going to and where its most likely to react from” And the only way you can know this precisely is to understand liquidity sweeps and mitigation.
Most times we tend to ignore what price has already done before approaching our poi, that's where paying attention to what price has done is crucial.
On the example above price already swept the sellside liquidity and even the last low before Advancing to that POI above and the setup got stopped out because there is no pending liquidity to attract price to head lower, that's why that setup got raided cuz price seeks liquidity
Right here is another example on why market take us out sometimes and still head our direction… Most times the POI we choose are potential liquidity target because price didn't sweep that level before the major move..
For a valid poi there must be a sweep on the last high or the last candle before the major move ( for a sell setup the last bullish candle before the declination for a buy setup, the last bearish candle before price advance must be swept).
On the chart example above price didn't sweep the external range liquidity and the last candle before the bearish move wasn't swept either, which makes that poi to be a potential liquidity target that's why price took it out as inducement before going to the major direction
the chart shows price already swept all the liquidity resting below both the sellside and last bearish candle before the bullish move, which makes the sell setup invalid because of the absence of liquidity to attract price to decline..
instead there are liquidity and unmitigated POIs to attract price to move up further.. The end ✅💯 don't forget to bookmark, repost and drop a comment 😁 I'm sure you find this insightful 🤏
