I have this headcanon of post-canon #goyuu cohabiting together. The two of them retire quietly after much deliberation to a cosy part of Sendai and just live together. Yuuji sometimes takes on missions on request and Satoru consults for Yuuta whenever he requests. But usually?

They're just in domestic bliss. They've never put a label on what their relationship is... at least not yet but everyone knows that they're basically married already. They're their neighbours' favourite people. Wherever Yuuji goes, Satoru follows, they're a package deal now.

And Yuuji, ever the sweetheart is always still helping out people whenever and wherever he can. I like to think Yuuji would set up a little business? Maybe a quaint little bakery where he makes delicious breads and pastries for the locals and it's an instant hit.

Satoru helps out at the front most of the time, turning on his charm to the max to coax old ladies into buying Yuuji's baked goods. They giggle and bat their hands at him always giving in while Yuuji watches fondly. He also never corrects them when they call Yuuji his husband.

The day was like any other morning. Satoru is sitting at their dining table watching Yuuji make their breakfast before they need to go open up the bakery. It is the picture of domesticity, Yuuji in a hoodie that's 2 sizes too big for him and a baby blue apron wrapped around him,

prepping eggs with a slightly sleepy but sweet smile on his face, and something in Satoru's chest tightens. "Yuuji-kun," he calls. "Hm?" Yuuji answers, not turning around. "Do you want to get married?" Chopsticks clatter onto the countertop as Yuuji whirls around, wide-eyed.

"What did you say, Satoru-san?" he asks, almost like he doesn't believe the words that just left his mouth. Like he doesnt believe Satoru would want to spend the rest of his life with him, in sickness and in health. So Satoru looks straight into his eyes, smile soft on his lips.

"Yuuji-kun, will you marry me?" he asks. The world holds its breath for a moment before tears well up in Yuuji's eyes, and Satoru's arms are suddenly full. "Yes, yes, yes! A million times yes!" he cries. "There is nothing I would love more!" And Satoru holds him,

eyes watering himself, and kisses the tears away from Yuuji eyes before scooping him up and planting kisses on his lips. Perhaps, the bakery can open a little later today. They were sure their customers won't mind.
