Q) Should you Wildcard after a poor start? If you’ve got injuries (Palmer, Cunha, Sarr etc), GW4 is a fine time to play it. But don’t Wildcard just because of a poor start or a bad rank.
Any draft WC team will look stronger than your current one - the key is whether the upside justifies burning the chip. In most cases, it doesn’t.
Q) Bench Boost worth planning in GW5? It’s an option if your squad is healthy & setup naturally. Many own Dubravka/Esteve, who both have Forest (H) in GW5.
There’s also Leeds (H) in GW8, but that’s straight after the international break = higher injury risk. Keep GW5 in mind as a BB window, but don’t force surgery moves just to set it up.
Q) How to handle GW6 & 7? GW6: City (H) Burnley = Haaland captain dream. Salah meanwhile has Palace (A).
Many have sold Palmer, but he plays Brighton (H). All this makes FH/WC in GW6 tempting for some managers.
GW7: Arsenal’s golden run begins (WHU H). Saving FTs or using a chip to align your squad for GWs 6/7 could be huge. Plan carefully - these 2 weeks are pivotal.
Q) Grealish hype justified? 2 hauls in Everton’s rejuvenated attack has attracted interest. But: • Returns = 4, xGi = 1.6 → overperforming • Liverpool in Gameweek 5 Decent pick, not essential.
Q) Isak & Ekitike? Isak only just returned with a cameo for Sweden. Risky buy before minutes are secure. Easy wait and see. Ekitike’s appeal dies once Isak is fit - his minutes won’t be safe.
Q) Wirtz - keep or sell? Massively disappointing so far with no returns, hence sales. xGi is underwhelming as well. But Burnley (A) & Everton (H) next = good fixtures. Give him more time - selling now feels premature.
Q) Watkins - keep or sell? Frustrating, yes. But Villa’s fixtures (incl. Sunderland & Burnley in 2 of the next 4) look good. Proven track record means he’s worth holding.
Q) Palmer - keep or sell? Injured in GW3, update unclear. If ruled out/a doubt, sell — can’t afford prolonged absences at that price. But if fit, he’s still excellent. Wait for news before deciding.
Q) Best Cunha replacement? 👉 Semenyo. Direct, in form, and has Brighton at home next. Underlying numbers also strong.
Q) Best Sarr replacement? 👉 Paquetá. West Ham’s #10, set-piece duty, nailed mins, and both attacking + defensive points potential. Great sub-£6m differential.
Q) Best Saliba replacement? Palace defence viable? Yes. Palace look solid + fixtures kind. • Muñoz: explosive, TAA-level xGi last season. • Lacroix: defensive contributions machine + £0.5m cheaper. • Richards: bargain starter, value enabler.
Q) Harvey Elliott at Villa? Wait & see. Might be great value, but role + minutes uncertain. Not a buy yet.
Q) Wood - keep or sell? Blanked v West Ham → sales rising. But Burnley & Sunderland after this week = good fixtures. Forest attack still worth backing especially under Ange who's known for his attacking style. Hold.
Q) Enzo worth considering? Has been on pens in Palmer’s absence. But once Palmer’s back, appeal drops. For cheaper, Paquetá is simply the better pick.
Q) Best captain GW4? 👉 Salah. Bookies’ top scorer/assist odds, pedigree, and comfortable fixture v Burnley. Effective ownership will be huge as well, but this is the obvious armband call.

@BigManBakar @FPL_Architect Copying crelin âś…
@BigManBakar Does Salah usually perform well after an international break? He was away in Ouagadougou.
@BigManBakar It’s not letting me pay monthly it’s only giving me the option to pay for the year any ideas?
@BigManBakar Whod be the best palmer replacement
