Okay does anybody have some tips vs Kirby? I play Falcon and Pit, and the best strategy I've found is to commit SUPER hard to platform camping as Falcon, but that's not foolproof Is Pit not a worthwhile secondary vs Kirby?
@SirDank_ Doesn’t our grounded raptor boost armor through fair? Getting fair’d isn’t super great if it lands on us as it’s one of their combo tools at low percent but we *can* beat that interaction. I think nair isn’t super applicable at all in this mu and we need to rely on dair heavily
@VurJe I feel like forward air would usually beat Raptor boost, the hits are so big, and Raptor boost is so high risk either way. Down air and Dash attack are generally very good for sure, but that's every matchup
@SirDank_ Kirby Falcon is lowkey ABYSMAL for Falcon IMO (it’s doable lol I’m exaggerating a bit but still so not worth your stress and agony) so if you’re willing to try I’d def recommend experimenting with Pit (regular Pit is better in this MU IMO). I’m down to chat if u want lol

@RiddlesRGV Kirby has incredible frame data, ridiculous combo game, and absurd kill power. If I ever get close to him, I'm likely to die. It's genuinely really hard to do anything beside platform camp, and if I don't have a lead, it's basically impossible
@SirDank_ Kirby is truly a weird character. One one hand he does well against characters like spacies. On the other he struggles against anyone that forces him to use his slow mobility or outranges him.
@KevTon13 Falcon having such good mobility is definitely a plus, and Pit can outrange him with some moves, but I feel like it's not enough for either of them it's so hard to grasp

@Butterkixxy I have quite a few pocket characters but Pit is definitely my 2nd best character. According to the JeJa/Guilheww matchup chart, Pit goes even. It could just be my lack of experience in the matchup, but it feels really really hard for Pit. So I'm kinda stumped rn
@SirDank_ Falcon vs kirby is prolly like -2... Pit kirby is even Id say ... platform camping kirby with either character is probably the best idea in neutral but ofc mixing up gameplan and avoiding getting grabbed by kirby and catching his smash attacks (kirbies love to use it) is vital.
@SirDank_ As for pit I’m not sure but it sounds fairly reasonable because fair would be good to poke Kirby with and would definitely air to air kirby. I think da is a semi-decent burst option as well. I think your general mix with grab out of conditioning them with fair would work
@SirDank_ Stick it out with falcon, pit seems possibly worse just because of bad mobility and not even much range, I think playing at a range where you can react to any button kirby may press with side b and hopefully being at a percent where that kills might be the way to go for now
