How to start training/Start a training group 101. A THREAD š§µ I have been getting an unrealistic amount of questions on how to train and how/where to start. I may make a video on this. So i guess this can be my storyboard as a Twitter thread. Lets get into it.
1. Why/What First question you need to ask yourself is why are you training and what do you want to be better at? Should be a simple question but it is a question you need to ask yourselves. Personally i want to defend my people, i do not want to go out of my way to hurt
2. Weapons The majority of Americans are using AR-15s and Glock 19/17s. Because of this i recommend that if you do not already have that, buy that. Take out a fucking credit card i donāt care buy a handgun and rifle. Rifle need a flashlight and optic. My cheap and durable
3. How to find people. -Churches -Gyms -Family -Taking paid training classes near you (Preferably) -The internet if you can trust. Trusting anyone from the internet is hard, and only going to get worse. How i started ODGG (the training side) was by posting up where i was going
4. Federal agents/Informants These exist, they are spies. Your cellphone is also a spy. Donāt do or say things you donāt want read back to you in a court room. Donāt do sketchy shit with people you donāt trust. Simple as
5. Fear of being late to the game You are fucking late to the game, you are going to suck at things, you may be fat, lame, and untrained. So what? Get the fuck of yourself you need to start training NOW. No one cares, put in the work. As gay and dumb as that sounds. Just get
6. You are fat and slow. Training with other men once a week, or once a month, once a year is NOT enough. You NEED to be working out on your own. Stop making excuses. You need to be working out regularly. -Throw 35lbs in a framed backpack, walk 3-6 miles every other week at
7. Drama. Understand that real life isnāt like on the internet. You are not going to be able to find men who agree with you on EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TOPIC. Real life you have to agree to disagree and move on. Heated debates are fine, arguing is fine. It is okay to disagree,
8. No calls/no shows You have to understand that when training, when hosting training events, when planning and organizing. You will probably get 1/10 of the people who say they will show up. Thatās okay. Donāt let it deter you. I have had events where no one showed up, i
9. LARP hate. Fed jacking/larp hate is a common thing, internet harassing is a common thing. The ā2A absolutistā crowd are not actually 2A absolutists. You will make fun of you for training. Just be prepared for that. They do that, Is what it is. Unless you are super duper
10. Have rules, have guidelines, have SOPs (standard operating procedures) Write things down of how you are going to operate and what rules you have to have in place. This is very important to have rules and some kind of chain of command. Who is in charge and who is leading
11. Training calendar. How often are you going to meet up? How often are you going to train? What are you training and when? How often does each member need to be present? What happens if someone stops showing up? How strict are you going to be? Do you have regular PT tests? Do
12. Reach of group. Is this a training group for men across your state to come together and train? Or is this a group for men that are within an hour of you so you have someone on QRF to come save you if you ever need anything? Or both? These are questions you will need to
13. Random questions to consider: -Is this a mens only space? -What events are family members allowed at? -Are you going to allow all members to have live rounds racked in weapons? -Do you have any veterans to be able to give advice and experience? -Is your group going to share
14. Conclusion. āActive clubsā or āmilitiasā Whatever you want to fucking call them are a lot of time, effort, heart ache, money, and effort. Did i mention a lot of effort? They are a lot of effort. You need to start somewhere, because you are going to do nothing alone beyond
@pnwguerrilla Question RE: an ammo reserve: Can you vacuum-seal ammo? Would that prevent primer degradation a few decades down the line, or will that not help?
@PlasticChairDis I have a box of .22LR that is 40 years old and all still shoots fine. Soā¦ā¦no? š¤·š»āāļø
@pnwguerrilla Be aware that every single one of these groups is gonna have a fed informant
@Praetorian2920 Your cellphone is the real informant. And you gladly keep that on you 24/7-365.
@pnwguerrilla Can you recommend some books on tactics?
@pnwguerrilla Pro tip, any group like this that you can find online glows like Chernobyl. Only train with like minds and fellow travelers in your area that you have known for years and vetted through social interaction. That new guy, that just moved into the area? Hmm, maybe not so much.
@pnwguerrilla Now we're talking.
@pnwguerrilla The Springfield sling is my go to.
@pnwguerrilla Spot the Feds š¤Ŗ

@pnwguerrilla too old to accepted in any group to train. but i have redoubled my efforts to lose the weight and started walking again to try to keep the knees working.
@pnwguerrilla If anyone in Connecticut is interested, I ruck and practice bushcraft every Sunday. I donāt mind traveling to different parts of the state. I am also willing to teach people about shooting guns for free (tips appreciated). I am by no means a professional however.
@pnwguerrilla This is absolute gold!!
@pnwguerrilla Step 1: buy a guy.
