Context: 1. Peace & Justice Project (PJP), led by Pamela Fitzpatrick & factional allies from ex-LOTO/ex-Unite/Collective networks (e.g. Karie Murphy, Amy Jackson, Alan Gibbons, Sean Halsall) controlled Your Party mailing list

2. but MOU Ltd, controlled by Feinstein, Driscoll, and Winter (now Sultana allies), controlled Your Party finances & donor information - this was part of a compromise to balance power between two factions

3. Sultana's team claim that Sultana & Corbyn agreed joint sign-off on all official Your Party statements. Corbyn's team dispute this and think agreement was for majority decision of the 6 independent MPs

4. Sultana was refusing to sign-off on anything until agreement could be reached on a new organising committee to steward the process, rather than six MPs having oversight

5. Sultana's team want joint leadership but feel Sultana and her allies are being completely excluded from the project

B. Recent events: 6. e-mail went out on Monday to full Your Party e-mail list announcing conference plans without Sultana's sign-off (reportedly Sultana doesn't object to the plans themselves, but to the process & team overseeing it)

7. Sultana's team hear that a membership system is about to be launched, which would send membership fees to PJP, and therefore give PJP complete control over the new party - data, finances, mailing list, and membership system

8. Sultana's team use main Your Party mailing list to launch membership system, connected to separate website, where all data and finances are controlled by MOU, as they fear it's their last chance to avoid being completely excluded from the process

9. PJP, Corbyn's constituency office, Your Party, We Demand Change, and possibly other orgs, with a variety of different staff and volunteers, all operate out of the same office - so potentially a lot of people may have been in a position to access that mailing list.

10. unclear who PJP authorised to access the mailing list, whether they gave people from Sultana's team access, etc - so 100% clear yet whether or not this is actually a data breach
