Everyone's still buying Udemy courses and watching 3-hour YouTube tutorials. Meanwhile I'm using AI as a personal tutor and learning 10x faster. Here are 5 prompts that will change how you learn anything:

Traditional learning is broken. Courses are too slow. YouTube is scattered. Books are outdated. LLMs are different. They adapt to YOUR pace, YOUR questions, YOUR learning style. It's like having a genius tutor available 24/7.

1. The Skill Breakdown Prompt: "I want to learn [skill]. Break this down into 5 progressive levels from beginner to advanced. For each level, tell me: Core concepts to master Practical exercises to try How I'll know I'm ready for the next level Estimated time to complete Make

This prompt creates your learning roadmap. I used it to learn SQL in 3 weeks instead of taking a 12-week course. The key is "progressive levels." The AI creates a logical sequence instead of dumping everything at once. You always know what comes next.

2. The Practice Generator Prompt: "I'm learning [skill] at [your current level]. Generate 10 practice exercises that will push my abilities. Make them: Slightly harder than what I'm comfortable with Based on real-world scenarios Include the solutions so I can check my work

Most people get stuck because they don't practice enough. This prompt solves that. I use it constantly. Learning copywriting? It generates real briefs to write. Learning Python? It creates coding challenges. The AI becomes your drill sergeant.

3. The Concept Explainer Prompt: "I'm confused about [specific concept]. Explain it like I'm 12, then give me 3 real-world analogies, then show me how it connects to what I already know about [related topic I understand]. After that, give me a simple way to remember this

This prompt is perfect for those "I don't get it" moments. The AI breaks down complex ideas into digestible pieces. The analogies are clutch. When I was learning databases, Claude compared them to filing cabinets. Clicked immediately.

4. The Mistake Detector Prompt: "I'm practicing [skill] and here's what I did: [paste your work/approach]. Review this like a tough but fair teacher: What did I do well? What mistakes did I make? How can I fix each mistake? What should I focus on improving next? Be specific

This is where LLMs shine. They catch mistakes you'd never notice and explain exactly how to fix them. I use this for everything. Code reviews, copy critiques, design feedback. It's like having a senior expert review your work instantly.

5. The Application Challenge Prompt: "I've been learning [skill] for [time period]. Create a capstone project that: Uses everything I've learned so far Solves a real problem Can be completed in [timeframe] Will impress someone in this field Give me the project brief and

Theory without application is useless. This prompt forces you to build something real. When I learned video editing, Claude designed a mini-documentary project. When I learned Excel, it created a business dashboard challenge. You learn by doing.

I've used these 5 prompts to master skills faster than any traditional method. The secret? LLMs adapt to you instead of forcing you to adapt to a curriculum. Pick a skill you want to learn. Start with prompt 1. You'll be amazed how fast you progress when your teacher

@AlexanderFYoung Great info, but Google is going to transform this entire self-learning space with their Learn Your Way offering. https://learnyourway.withgoogl...

@AlexanderFYoung This is a major step forward for education. AI tutors are solving e-learning's biggest problem low completion rates by offering a truly personalized learning experience.

@AlexanderFYoung The point is clear and fully agree with it. However in my opinion books, courses, youtube is still highly relevant. Key is using them with a LLM to learn 5x faster and better

@AlexanderFYoung Absolutely agree AI tutors are game-changers for personalized learning. That 10x speed boost? Game on for lifelong learners!

@AlexanderFYoung So you are the only one using AI for learning? Amazing!

@AlexanderFYoung Learning by doing is the way!

@AlexanderFYoung Bookmarked

@AlexanderFYoung I want to learn faster, mind sharing one prompt that I can try tonight?

@AlexanderFYoung 100x better frameworks right here.

@AlexanderFYoung Everyone needs to know about this.
