Triple captain Haaland? 💎 Amid some injury concerns, Manchester City have posted some pictures and Haaland is in training. So, it looks like he is fit and ready to go for GW6. He did not play in midweek and City’s break after Burnley is Saturday afternoon to Wednesday evening.

This is good spacing, a nice amount of time for Haaland to recover after the game. So, taking before and after Burnley into account, I think that Haaland will have good minutes in GW6. How weak is Burnley though as opposition?

• Most expected goals conceded by 2 • Most shots conceded • Most shots in the box conceded • Most shots on target conceded So, it’s safe to say that Burnley are a weak opposition.

In their two matches away from home (albeit games against TOT and MUN) they conceded: 6 goals (from 5.95xGC) 42 shots 12 shots on target Haaland will have a great chance here to do well, the question is, is there a better week for the chip?

GW13 - LEE (H) GW15 - SUN (H) GW17 - WHU (H) As Burnley were the worst in all those above stats, these teams all rank higher than Burnley. Also: GW13 - popular WC week if you still have the chip GW15 - Sunderland have looked good, 6th for xGC GW17 - Potter won’t be in charge

All in all, Burnley look poor and the other weeks aren’t guaranteed to be as good as this. Haaland is on fire now, who knows, he could be injured by those gameweeks. So, I would play the triple captain this week if you can ✅

Exit and entry points 📌 Exit points: Villa - GW6/8 Forest - GW7 Liverpool - GW6/7 Entry points: Arsenal - GW7 Spurs - GW6 Everton - GW6 Bournemouth - GW6 City - GW6 For example, it is fine to hold Forest assets for another week, and wait a week on Arsenal assets.

Also, in regard to entry points, GW6 is a week where lots of teams appeal. However, keep in mind that some of these only have good fixtures short term. Spurs, Bournemouth, City etc don’t have long term great fixtures, so try to avoid loading up on too many.

DEFCON defenders 🧱 With five gameweeks of data, it is clear that DEFCON is a great route to points and something to target when picking your defenders. Here are some great defensive picks that have good DEFCON potential:

As it has been found that DEFCON points are more likely in easier matches than tougher ones, it makes sense to still target the easier fixtures with the aim of paring DEFCON with clean sheets. So, build a backline that rotates well to give good fixtures.
