@orikron This is important because? If China was truly serious about power they would not be wasting time with wind or solar. Instead true power is in nuclear energy and helium -3.
@Defiladefire You do know that China is the one most on track to establish a permanent moon presence and exploitation of Helium 3 for fusion purposes, right? Google "China chang'e missions" for more.

@BlackMambuh789 China has been exporting more solar panels and cells (which are the components of solar panels yet to be assembled) due to increasing external demand (from countries like India, Türkiye, etc...) and internal oversupply but they're still installing more than the rest of the world.
@orikron The heat produced from these vast solar arrays are likely more responsible for current increased global temp rises than are carbon fuels.

@orikron Every single one of them will have to be replaced within 20-25 years. Aside from extreme remote applications can we skip this exercise and move on to more sensible SMR nuclear technology. Solar is inconsistent and needs back up. It’s not the technology to base a countries grid

@orikron Solar is garbage unless you are living in space when those solar panels need replacing in 2-4 years due to environment exposer or they get damaged suddenly you have no way to produce power and you are in debt.
