I don't think people are realizing what's happening with the Global Sumud Flotilla: it's potentially becoming extremely consequential. Fact is, at this stage the flotilla is effectively escorted by multiple warships from 3 major countries: Spain, Italy and Turkyie. The warships

@RnaudBertrand I don't agree that it's consequential. Regardless of the outcome, nothing significant will change and it will be as though nothing happened.

@SirJaredofHowe Stop being so cynical. Otherwise it's not worth doing anything: what's the point of the flotilla then? Heck, what's the point of doing anything if things are so preordained? At least these people are trying: the odds are small but they're not null and the very least we can do is

@RnaudBertrand I found it difficult to believe a navy ship sent to escort would just watch hostile drones in it's immediate vicinity and not intercept them . I don't think an attack would happen in international water , but the question how would it go once it reaches territorial waters ?

@saddem_gargouri It's not Israel's territorial waters though... If they let the flotilla be attacked by Israel in Palestinian territorial waters, it's pretty much as bad politically as international waters.

@RnaudBertrand Great analysis as ever Arnaud. Quick thought; is there an outcome which is more like 1b, where the flotilla gets to Gaza, lands but can only drop off their aid in a very controlled area and cant do anything else?

@NeilJPage Yes, that's unfortunately also pretty likely, but at least they'd have gotten to Gaza which is already a victory of sorts

@RnaudBertrand There's a 4th option which would have peace in the area as per today's announcement. The flotilla could then either drop off their provisions or return home.

@RnaudBertrand that's a poor take. your options we: 1) Israel doesnre't attack, the flotilla reaches Gaza, which means the blockade is breached and which is a major precedent: - Israel was never going to 'attack'. It will legally board and arrest, then process/deport. But regardless, Gaza

@RnaudBertrand Why keep using the term "attack"? Point out where this has ever occurred before. Israel will intercept and board the boats the same as any country would do if a foreign boat was heading to its country and there is absolutely nothing that the other naval ships can do about it. End

@RnaudBertrand A retarded rabbit hole. God help you.

@RnaudBertrand You missed option 4: The warships block the flotilla just in time before they do stupid shit and provoke Israel. All of a sudden they become the adults in the room preventing the kids from harming themselves.

@RnaudBertrand I really hope they get to Gaza. And become Hamas’ bitches. I would love to see them react to the reality of their allies. Especially the Gays and women

@RnaudBertrand They breach the blockade then what? They have sailing boats , their only purpose was to draw fire…if they fail at it the mission is failed because they have no aids for so many people

@RnaudBertrand The warships will stop at the Israeli territorial waters, as soon as the flotilla gets in there it will be sunk

@RnaudBertrand You wasted too much time over thinking this. Once the flotilla reaches ISraeli territorial waters they will be stopped, arrested and the boats confiscated. Should a foreign naval asset attempt to interfere they would be an aggressor. NATO will not get involved if the countries

@RnaudBertrand 4: The war ships carry some of these losers back home and Israel arrests the leaders. They’re obviously in contact with Israel, you moron.

@RnaudBertrand If any of these vessels enter the blockade they will be stopped and captured. Entering a blockade is a hostile action, which means Article 5 can't be used to call upon NATO.

@RnaudBertrand Ahhaaha, none of these countries warships will cross into Israeli waters. Israel doesn't need to attack. They just need to wait for the flotilla to cross into their waters and then they will arrest everyone while these warships watch from a distance, because they won't attack

@RnaudBertrand The technology and weapons on that Spainish warship youre simping for - all Isreali 😉 You're bat shit crazy if you think they'll cross out of international waters, risk losing their military contracts with Israel, or open fire over a bunch of daft numpties who couldn't even

@RnaudBertrand So, you're still adrift at sea for over 6 weeks? Dude, you're fucked. Israel is already ready for you. We have a surprise that'll fuck you up in different ways.

@RnaudBertrand You have the internet?

@RnaudBertrand Israel will 100% board and move all of the flotilla vessels to a safe port and then move the supplies into Gaza via current channels and none of the foreign military vessels will interfere in that.

@RnaudBertrand Don’t care. It’s not the US. We have our own problems to solve before we should be worried about anything externally
