Hi @discord & @discord_support . On September 20th, my Discord account was hacked. After getting hacked, my account was disabled for suspicious activity, which was fine, so I changed my password. I was then suspended for breaking Discord's rules without warning. I requested a-
review because I obviously didn't know what was posted/removed, as it was convenient that I got suspended after being hacked. However, I was not provided with any reason to maintain the suspension. While I was hacked, I was panicking and immediately logged out of all sessions-
and changed my password. I then removed the guy, who was holding my account for ransom for one of my badges, and was deleting friends and leaving servers. I didn't manage to grab screenshots of his messages, but since I can't even access the settings on Discord, I can't request-
any data from previous messages from the guy. As I tried to reach support via email on this issue, I was put in a constant loop. I have submitted a ticket following the same instructions, only to be given the same response to resubmit again and again. I use Discord for-
chatting with friends, but I also use it for my work as a content creator and editor. I was told by Discord support via twitter/x dms that they can't help with bans/appeals, but I have no other way to get this issue resolved or even get any explanation.
