Q) Good week to save a transfer for the GW6 Wildcarders? Yes, it’s quite a comfortable week to roll. Most GW6 Wildcarders should already be well set up for the fixture swings ahead.

Rolling now gives you a lot of flexibility. A banked transfer makes it much easier to move for the likes of Salah or Palmer in the coming weeks, if needed.

Q) Is it the right week to Bench Boost for GW6 Wildcarders, with the Gabriel doubt? It’s always tricky with Arteta, but if Gabriel is declared fit or spotted in training, I’d be inclined to go ahead. Most GW6 Wildcard squads are well set up for it.

If Gabriel is out, or if BB in GW7 would mean major surgery, it’s wiser to wait. But if you’ve got 15 reliable players available, this week is one of the better low-risk windows to finally cash in.

Q) What should be the plan for most non-GW6 Wildcarders? I’d prioritise bringing in Arsenal cover, their fixtures from this point are very favourable.

Q) Who are the best Arsenal assets to target? If Gabriel is fit, he’s a great entry into their defence. Up front, Gyökeres looks like a strong long-term pick as well. I'm currently favouring Gyokeres to Saka as he's the more likely pen-taker and has slighlty better xMins.

Q) Would you take a hit or Wildcard this week? The threshold for Wildcarding is lower than usual this season, especially with the extra free transfers coming during AFCON.

I’d personally Wildcard now and lock in a strong squad for the weeks ahead. If you take a hit now but still plan to WC in GW8/9, there isn’t much time for the hit to pay off.

Q) Who are the must haves on a WC this week? David Raya looks like the perfect set-and-forget keeper. Doubling up on Arsenal’s defence makes sense too. Gabriel (if fit) stands out with nailed minutes and set-piece threat.

Senesi has been a revelation, hitting defensive contribution thresholds every game. In midfield, Reijnders offers cheap exposure to City’s attack. And of course, Erling Haaland remains close to lock in his current form.

Q) Bruno Fernandes – keep or sell? If Bruno had scored both his penalties, he’d currently be the 5th highest scorer in the game, and the 2nd highest midfielder behind Semenyo. The narrative around him would be completely different.

For me, he’s an easy keep. With penalties (still likely), set pieces and a home fixture against a promoted side this week, the upside is still very strong.

Q) What to do with Richarlison? I’d be worried, back-to-back 90s in the league & UCL, plus a quick glance at the Spurs fan forums hint he may not start v Leeds. Enough of a concern that I’d avoid Bench Boosting if keeping him.

Q) Best captain this week? The armband stays with Erling Haaland. Bruno was my initial pick for GW7, but the uncertainty around penalties makes it a risk I’d rather avoid.

Haaland is simply unstoppable right now. With his huge effective ownership, he’s the safer and more logical captaincy play this week.
