@DelusionPosting I admit I had to check to be sure, but it's 50.

@cjgrvster @DelusionPosting It would be 50 if it was (-5)^2. But it's -5^2+25 so you need to do -(5^2)+25. And answer is 0. I have done years of algebra in school and math is easy for me, but I understand this might confuse some people.

@Puoskaaja @DelusionPosting No it's not, you're rewriting the equation like everybody else that can't admit they are wrong. -5² that is the number. That is the number you must solve. That is 25. 25 + 25 is 50.

@cjgrvster @Puoskaaja @DelusionPosting The equation may also be written as: 0 - 5² + 25 If the number to calculate was ((-5)²), then this would be the next step: 0 25 + 25 which makes no sense. Instead, the number to calculate is (-(5²)), leaving the negative sign. The actual next step is: 0 - 25 + 25

@VoxelPrismatic @Puoskaaja @DelusionPosting No you cannot rewrite an equation because you are wrong. That changes the math problem. Deal with the math problem as it is or fuck off

@cjgrvster @Puoskaaja @DelusionPosting I can rewrite an equation because I know how math works. In fact, my calculator (from @NumWorks) refuses to use "ambiguous" syntax

@VoxelPrismatic @cjgrvster @Puoskaaja @DelusionPosting @NumWorks Use f pemdas or bodmas. These rules have been made for a reason. To make things uniform, otherwise maths becomes interpretation(nothing would work). One set of rules and you get to one answer. Your 'read from left from is to right' is laughable. Not how maths works
