@TheBobPony does the rufus way still work ?
@litudev_ As of right now, yes!
@TheBobPony Pro edition, domain join, problem fixed.
@cjk365 Most average Windows users use Home Edition as it's usually preinstalled on most consumer PCs, so domain join isn't an option!
@TheBobPony Microshit will thank you for your support π
@Brahmissimo There will be more workarounds to be found. π
@TheBobPony Would you just be able to download an old ISO / use an ISO that you have laying around to still do the localonly cmd? It's a lifesaver, I hate Windows 11 with a passion, as well as logging in.
@CBTwizard Yes, but I would recommend using at least Version 24H2 (aka Windows 11 2024 Update) ISO as older ISOs are more of a hassle as it would need to download bigger feature updates (Averaging around 5 GB).
@TheBobPony Shift+F10 on first screen and type ms-cxh:localonly
@NewUser3157 Doesn't work anymore since Build 26120.6772 or 26220.6772
@TheBobPony It's not practical. Can just make new games run on Linux good enough, and M$ Windows will disappear by itself. Absolute majority need windows only because of games, everything else works fine on Linux/Mac.
@TheBobPony Just use linux.
@TheBobPony All that work. Never have this BS with MacOS or Linux.
@TheBobPony Just use this https://schneegans.de/windows/...
@TheBobPony I was configuring new laptop for family member, ofc there were no wifi drivers so the wifi wasnβt working and it wanted me to use MS account β¦ make it make sense. Thank god terminal exist.
@TheBobPony Better work around https://fedoraproject.org/atom...
@TheBobPony Just typing "oobe\bypassnro" works too
@TheBobPony I use the Windows Configuration Designer. Its meant for deploying PCs, but allows you to do pc name, network setup,etc. You set up all the options in the software. It spits out files to put on a flash drive, you plug it in during the Oobe No MS account needed and quick setup.
@TheBobPony Install linux
@TheBobPony or just use an old ISO without connecting to the internet
@TheBobPony Windows users are scared of the terminal π€ͺ
@TheBobPony Just install Linux.
@TheBobPony Does it not work on Windows 11 25h2 Pro? I tested it and it does not allow me to click on βI don't have internet.β
@TheBobPony PLS GET 24H2 AND UPGRADE I DARE YOU 25H2 ISO IS 7.2GB 25H2 JUST UPDATE OVER 24H2 NO BIG DEAL
@TheBobPony You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for your service!
@TheBobPony Watch them remove the terminal from setup if that happens I will genuinely slime Microsoft out
@TheBobPony There will come a time where you will need to be more intimately familiar with computers to run windows properly than to run any Linux Distro, and that time will start approximately July 7th, 2026
@TheBobPony ππΌππΌππΌππΌfuck Microsoft
